I was a bit disappointed with the time it takes to get the scanner started. Once it starts, though, it's fast enough to process the number of pages I usually work with. The other issue I have is that it remembers the name and location stored of the last document I scanned and automatically inserts that in the fields for the new document. Not a good feature and one that I constantly have to keep in mind, lest I erase the previous document and scan over the top of it.

The Scanner is a nice solid scanner but if your using the wireless option a 7 page scan could take up to 30 minutes for the entire scan to render on your computer. Very disappointing .. get the USB only model .. You'll save on the aggrevation If Epson could fix this issue I would change my rating to 4 stars

this scanner is geat but it doesnt connect to the wifi. I have tried many different ways and it just does not connect. it is however very fast

Bought two of these. These are excellent scanners. No problems at all.

I have tried other scanners and this one is superior by far. It is easy to use.It is fast, and the documents look clear. I am very pleased.

Installed on Win10. Software install was simple and scan process is intuitive and easy. Flawless so far. Scans are very good quality and fast.

I bought this to scan receipts, bills, etc., and it shredded the first receipt I tried to scan. Wireless setup is ridiculously difficult, and I only finished it with assistance from third party websites. The software looks like it was designed for Windows XP, and it is fragmented into a half-dozen programs. If HP could make hardware that lasted longer than 15 months, I'd go to them for the better software interface.

Love this scanner! It's fast and scans two sided documents in one pass. It's perfect for use in my office and also to scan due diligence materials in the offices of my clients. It does everything I wanted a scanner to do.

This scanner works very well. It's fast and you can scan a lot of documents at one time. I also love that I can scan directly to my phone.

Would definitely purchase this product again if needed.

I use this scanner at my small business (~10 employees on 5 computers) and it works great. Everyone is able to connect wirelessly and the scanner breezes through documents at a quick pace. While black and white documents are crystal clear, the scanner really excels with color documents providing crisp, clean, and vibrant scans. We use it for things like tax forms etc up to color scans of design work and more. It's nice and small too so it easily fits in with our other office hardware. We have been running the Epson WorkForce series products and they do not disappoint, this scanner is no exception! As far as I can tell, the speed in which the document renders on my machine is effected by my wireless signal strength/bandwidth (obviously). It's a little slower when our wifi is bogged down with too many users/etc which is something to keep in mind if your signal is weak or overdrawn, but it works great for me .

I work for a big law firm with a few satellite offices and my satellite office uses a bunch of the Epson Workforce products because of their high quality, efficiency and compact-styles that fit well in our micro-office. We received the Epson DS-560 from Epson in exchange for an impartial review. My law firm is paperless, which allows us to work remotely when we're on the road, which is great, except when we receive a ton of documents that need to be scanned to the server, which happens every day. The Epson WorkForce DS-560 has made our life so much easier! Set up took less than three minutes and the scan settings are easy to use without having to read through a manual. It's also very easy to install the software, even for MAC computers. We send large documents through the file and they scan and upload to the server very quickly so we aren't wasting time sitting there waiting for them to upload. The double-feed detection works great for double-sided documents as well. And it also scans 11" x 17" which is perfect for my legal size note pads. I also really like that I can scan the documents and send them straight to my iPhone and iPad instead of having to scan them to my computer, and transfer them to my devices. This saves time when I quickly need a document on the go or to send in an email. I love the feature that creates searchable PDF's which helps when I receive a large document and am looking for a particular word/person in a document. Our old scanner would not pick up color, so when we would scan pictures from our cases, we were unable to see what the picture was on the computer. The DS-560 scanner picks up the color pictures very well and it is clear quality. The size is great too because once you're done scanning your documents, you can fold and close it and it takes up little room on my desk. I can also use the scanner to scan business cards I receive from networking events so I don't lose them and don't have to hold on to them. Overall, the Epson Workforce DS-560 has made my life at work so much easier. I definitely recommend it to anyone that is considering a Document Scanner. The quality of the documents is great, the speed of the scanning saves times and the size is compact enough that it doesn't take up much space.

The Epson DS560 is an incredible scanner. The print quality is superb and the processing speed is crazy fast. I highly recommend this scanner for offices that have high or mid level document storage needs. While Epson did provide us with the DS Scanner as a way to compare their products against a competitors equipment, I can say hands down their scanner is far superior to other products we have used in the past.

I've had the Neat scanner for years & looked for an alternative since they are moving to a strictly cloud based platform. I purchased this one based on reviews hoping I wouldn't have any problems. This thing set itself up. Highly, Highly, Highly Recommend this to anyone who needs a document scanner for reasons and/or tax forms. Perfect for home or home office. It is FAST!!!!!!

I bought this scanner for our automotive business as we are trying to go paperless. Our first attempt was with a neat scanner. Talk about a failure. Threw that in the garbage. Bought this epson scanner. The scanner is great but comes with really bad software. Brought this back to best buy and paid for the fushitsu. Now we are set that's the scanner to get wireless scanning capabilites, great software much better quality overall
