    This printer was on sale but even if it wasn’t I would still recommend it.!. This item works well for personal use and provides great quality printing for your dollar. Highly recommend!!!

    Does not have too many bells and whistles, but for me that is a good thing. I just need to scan documents efficiently for work. This unit does the job with no fuss. It could be a little faster and a little cheaper.

    This is an ok scanner but only for documents. It snd photos poorly. The quality of the scan is no good for anything other than basic documents. If you're scanning documents for this, it will work fine. If you intend to scan photos, find something else. Unless you don't mind pixelated, blurry or poor colored photos. I had to exchange the first one. Scanned with lines. Real pain because I scanned hundreds of pages. Before I realized it and had to redo all of them. Exchanged for a new one but honestly I rarely use now. Should have gotten a refund and purchased a different one.

    I purchased the Epson ES-50 to scan old photographs. I scanned 36 photos and stopped because I went out of town. I got back and wanted to start again and nothing. It will power on but my comouter wont recognize the device. Its so frustrating. It costs too much to have this kind of trouble. It will be going back to the store.

    I had a little trouble installing it, had to go online and do a search. It would not start scanning after downloading and turning on. Slower than my last one but it does the job.

    Purchased to use with android phone, discovered must have a USB connection to a laptop or desktop, returned.

    I am very happy with this purchase. The controls are not "out of the box" intuitive, but a little reading of the instructions and downloading the software was all that was needed.

    Replacement for onboard WI-FI. Difficult to install driver since it only came with an optical disk and no disk drive on computer. Onboard WI-FI worked long enough to download driver.

    This scanner was fantastic for the first 6 weeks. I used it about 1-2 times per week to scan approx. 200 pages each time (invoices and receipts for business). Suddenly, it stopped working. It would scan a blank page, and that was it. Contacted Epson support, They said problem was with Windows. Contacted Microsoft. They said problem was with HP computer. Debated having to buy a new computer. Finally, after falling behind in work, I was able to procure another ES-50 scanner. It worked perfectly with Windows on my computer, so the problem was obviously something in the scanner. But I can't return it because the return window is closed. I guess I can only hope the current scanner quits working before the deadline to return.

    Absolute CRAP. Frustrating. If you like to cuss!!! Buy this piece of garbage. Doesn't scan photos with quality. Cuts them off, rarely gets the edges correct. Thought epson would be better than this. I've spent more time trying to scan pictures than working on a video project. Worthless to me.
