Epson E50 Scanner

Now the scanner will not connect to the internet. This gift has not worked correctly since it was received. And now I find out it is to late to return or exchange the gift because the 14 days has passed days. So irritated with this product.

Nice scanner, but...

I've had for 6 months and for the past 2 months I keep getting lines through every page I scanned. I bought the kit to clean it and it helped for a week and now there are 2 annoying lines through every page.

Great Little Scanner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The ES-50 is a small portable document scanner that works quite well in turning documents into searchable PDF files. It is possibly the lightest portable scanner on the market. The ES-50 is easy to use, single-sheet-feed scanning is fast, and optical scan resolution is 600dpi. It is versatile in that not only can you feed documents up to 8.5” x 72,” you can feed business cards, receipts, and the like. Download the applicable software for either Windows or Mac devices, plug in the USB cable to your computer, and it’s ready to go. There is a lot to like about the ES-50, but it isn’t perfect. While the scanner is portable based on size and weight, it must be USB cable connected to your computer for it to operate. No Wi-Fi! If a wireless connection is not needed or desired, this one is for you. If it is important to “cut the cord,” get the ES-50’s big brother, the ES-60W. Either way, you can’t go wrong with Epson. Judging the ES-50 totally on its own merits (lack of Wi-Fi not being held against it), I do recommend it for the ease of operation and the quality output.

Poor built and quality

Quit working a week after purchase.

Worked great for 5 days - then blank pages

For $100, I expected it to last more than 12 scans and more than 5 days. I purchased this January 11th and January 16th, it started scanning with black lines. I used the cleaning strip and now it doesn't even scan anything - just blank pages. Contacted Support and they had me remove the drivers, remove and reinstall the software + drivers and the scanner is doing the same thing. At this point, I don't even want a replacement. I'm going to return it and look into another brand.

Waste of time

Pictures get stuck when inserting it.
