This is a great device for simple scanning! I have a lot of paperwork that I scan and it’s nice to be able to scan on the go! You can set a destination location and document format for all documents scanned. Easy to scan multiple page documents as well, although you need to feed page by page. My only complaint is that you need to set the DPI based on what you’re scanning and that can be a trial and error phase until you’re satisfied with the scan quality.

At first of bought a brother scanner. Installed the drivers and all the software, it would scan, but never upload. And it picked two pages at a time. So I returned it on the last day to return, and got this much cheaper, plug and play Epson. No it does not have automatic feed, but it does what it supposed to, with taking a very little footprint on my desk.

Overall, the scan quality is pretty decent for full-page size documents; However, scanning cards like a photo ID are a little blurry but still pretty readable. As long as you're not looking for something SUPER hi-res, this does the job pretty well.

What an amazing little doc scanner! No larger than a fat 12-inch ruler, direct USB connection for data AND power--no AC adapter/brick needed. Integrates seamlessly with MacBook pro using the downloaded Epson scan software (better than the Epson software for my Perfection V550 photo scanner). One reviewer (here or on another site) complained about lousy scan of a 4x6 photo--it is NOT a photo printer. But it accomplishes its advertised tasks flawlessly.

It does what he says it will, I think on sale I paid $89.00. However Best Buy put their HP Laser Jet MP 234 Sdw on sale for $149.00. So for $60 more you got Laser Printer, Copier and scanner with automatic document feeder. If you just want a scanner you can put it away and pull it out when you need it if you need space, I returned mine and purchased the Laser Jet and I am very happy with it.

Works well and was easy to use. Very intuitive. The desktop app for it allows you to drag and drop pages around to reorganize it, which is super helpful if you scan out of order. Just be careful not to jiggle the port (as for most tech devices w/ this type of cable) or else it won't transmit data anymore. User error obviously but just a heads up.

A great little unit that scans perfectly. The only glitch was a small setting in the EPSON software which detected another EPSON Product I own and it became ADDED to the main drop-down list...so when I was Unable to save my new scan test files, it was solely due to my EPSON PRINTER being selected by default instead of the scanner the 50 series seems as good as any of them, and now I look forward to ridding myself of all this office paper clutter throughout the summer....can you say YEA!
