    Very disappointed with the process to configuration and installation is like you need to go to Harvard to installed this simple scanner

    I am very happy with this purchase. The controls are not "out of the box" intuitive, but a little reading of the instructions and downloading the software was all that was needed.

    Replacement for onboard WI-FI. Difficult to install driver since it only came with an optical disk and no disk drive on computer. Onboard WI-FI worked long enough to download driver.

    This scanner was fantastic for the first 6 weeks. I used it about 1-2 times per week to scan approx. 200 pages each time (invoices and receipts for business). Suddenly, it stopped working. It would scan a blank page, and that was it. Contacted Epson support, They said problem was with Windows. Contacted Microsoft. They said problem was with HP computer. Debated having to buy a new computer. Finally, after falling behind in work, I was able to procure another ES-50 scanner. It worked perfectly with Windows on my computer, so the problem was obviously something in the scanner. But I can't return it because the return window is closed. I guess I can only hope the current scanner quits working before the deadline to return.

    Needed an easy scanner but do not have a lot of space. Works with all size documents and receipts. Now don’t have to keeps lot of paperwork.

    A little clumsy at first. Not very stable--sometimes the document will shift and slide as it goes through the scanner, and the image comes out crooked. Images come out with varying degrees of clarity. Not recommended for professional use, OK for personal, non-important documents.
