Perfect little scanner for a home office! When I needed documents scanned and emailed, this was so convenient to have on my desk and not have to leave to have it scanned elsewhere. This was exactly what I needed for the right price. It was the perfect choice!

This is an awesome scanner. It is very compact and portable. You can carry it wherever you go. It is very convenient for me because I have little ones running around. I can easily put it up where they can’t get to it. This scanner scans with a breeze. I can easily hook it up to WiFi and it gets the job done. Also the battery life is awesome. This is a unit for occasional scans, not for high volume production. However, it is super portable; it is not wireless but the wire that comes with it is not too long, and very convenient to plug in. The unit scans quickly in color and in black and white. It is set upf for letter size scans, but smaller documents are ok, and one very long document (36 inches) scanned just fine, though the image had to be enlarged on the screen to read the words. One has the choice betwee a pdf document or a jpg file. The scanned files can be saved to hard drive or to flash drive. The scanned files are given a sequential designation. However, if one converts the names of these file to something more identifiable, the Scanner starts the number sequence over. I would recommend it to a friend if their scanning need were similar to mine. I would not recommend this to someone need to scan many documents every day. Epson has other products designed for high volume situations. They are more expensive, but save time in frequent high volume situations.

Excellent portable scanner was spectacle about this product. I did my research on an affordable and portable scanner. It works for me test it out excellent. Easy to carry, clear scan, easy to use, and a 1,2,3 setup. Awesome highly recommended and affordable.

Excellent product. Have it working on my Macbook and a Windows 10 HP that I have setup to boot into Linux Mint or Windows 10. Easy setup on all three operating systems and produces good quality scans. Highly recommend this product.

Great purchase. I wanted a dedicated desktop scanner but couldn’t afford one. I haven Epson printer/scanner but the autofeed keeps jamming and using the flatbed is slow and tedious. This little scanner is perfect. The quality is excellent, many options for saving or converting and it’s fast compared to the scanner on my printer. One of the only purchases I have that has no complaints or problems.

This scanner works great! Scans come out looking fine, I waited to do a review until I had used it several times, and it has done a great job. My scanner printer combo gave out, so I replaced the printer with one that uses inexpensive ink cartridges, and had to find a decent replacement scanner. My first thought was to get another flatbed scanner, but after looking, I found that the sheetfeed scanners were comparable in price, and had comparable reviews, and the added benefit of being portable. So, I bought this sheetfeed scanner. Glad I did, it's small enough that it fits nicely in my laptop bag so you can easily take it with you to use with your laptop. Works great with the desktop, too, takes very minimal storage area. It was easy to set up, and is easy to use. So far, I have'nt had to re-scan anything.

Setting it up was fairly easy and the scans are very fast. It scanned in color when I tested it at setup but not now. I am sure there is an easy fix but I haven't figured it out yet. Clear scans

a little noisy while scanning but overall great product. Super slim and compact fits well into a neat and organized desk aesthetic. Images come our crisp and clear. Easy to set up and work with.

Scanned well. Theonly down side was if you have irregular large suzed photos or documents.

Love this! It’s ease of use is incredible and you can scan multiple pages and save them to one document all at once. Plus it’s easy to store and takes up little space.

Works great on newest Win 11 and fine on 10, does not work on 22H2 but that’s Microsoft’s fault, it affects all scanners.

This unit is great on the road or on the desk in front of a keyboard. It's small and light compared to similar units by other makers. The USB port is on the right side of the scanner, which means the cable is out of the way when scanning. Long receipts are not a problem for the ES-50. Other units will error out after 14", your typical Best Buy receipt is longer. Epson's MAC scanning software is basic, but gets the job done pretty quickly. If you're looking for small and to just get it done fast, then give this wicked little wonder a shot.

This scanner is fantastic. I have years of files in my very stuffed file cabinet that I have wanted to scan and then get rid of for a long time. I have had the traditional type scanners but the process was so time consuming that I quickly gave up. This tiny scanner that puts the files right into your computer makes all the difference. It was such a breeze to set up, just download the software, connect the USB cable, put your document in place, press a button to scan. Of course you have to set up your folders ahead of time, but once you have everything set up the scanning proceeds quickly. There are a few choices for setup (see picture).

Very good scaner,my husband travels and needs some times scan paperwork to send it to the office.This one is easier than other models ,I been tryiong other ones.
