As someone who is just starting to learn how to cook, this item comes in handy to quickly check if the food is cooked enough or not. I like that theres also a quick reference guide on the pen cover showing what the temperatures are for each food group.

Great little digital thermometer tell the temperature and makes cooking easier

I like the push button on/off switch instead of a slide switch. Other thermometers have not held up well against steam so we shall how this one does. It is better built and more solid than other thermometers I have used. For the price it is a good thermometer to try out and if you don't like it then give it as a gift.

Nice little thermometer. We upgraded to this one from an old analog dial type. What an improvement! The reading equilibrates in a matter of just a couple three seconds, while our old one took like 30 seconds.

I love this kitchen tool! It has a digital interface that is readable even under hot temperatures. I would definitely recommend!
