The one and only good Paul W.S. Anderson movie!! Its no Alien but scratches the Space Horror itch you may have.

The movie had an ok story. But, it's attempt to be ethnic, instead of focusing on the story, ruined the movie.

Hellraiser meets 2001. A new drive for space travel creates a dimensional gate to a place of pure evil. Terror and horrific events and scenes await those who are brave enough to watch. Overall a fantastic movie, with only a few science based flubs in it. There are some mistakes such as sound in the vacuum of space, or water being in liquid form when there is supposed to sub-freezing temperatures. Other than the minor mistakes, (you hardly notice them) this is a terrifying film that will make anyone, and I mean anyone, afraid of the dark once more.

This is one of my wife and I's favorite movies. It doesn't get better than this. The plot is very unique and very intense. The acting was supurb, and the special effects were fantastic. This film is the perfect mix between horror and sci-fi. This is a one of a kind experience, a definite must own. I highly recommend it! Also, if you like this film, I can recommend Dark City, Sunshine and Serenity.
