Pretty good movie. I can cross climbing Everest off my bucket list. Those people are crazy. Why would you do that? Just to say you did it? Ridiculous. Just watch the movie instead. You'll stay much warmer and with some fresh popcorn curled up on the couch with your lover. Mmm......

This movie seems to deliver the emotional aspect and determination this people had for doing something they truly believed in. it was tough at times to see these people struggle the way they did, but that's what added to the movies overall impact. Very good movie, and of course awesome price. #bestbuyforlife

I still wonder why people take such risks as climbing this mountain; however, that said, it's a great movie that chronicles the men and women who do this. I was especially awed by the making of the film. You can't tell the real mountain from the model they built. Breathtaking scenery and heartbreaking story.

Ever wonder what it would be like to climb Mt. Everest? This movie, based on a true story, literally gave me chills for its spectacular depiction of the forces working against anyone climbing Everest. The sensational photography alone is worth investing two hours of your time.

This is a disaster film! I enjoy these movies much better than the likes of 2012 or the upcoming Geostorm. Stories of real people in real situations are always better. Put you right in the action with gorgeous cinematography and it looks fantastic in HD and 4K!

I enjoyed this story.. It was based on a true story so the scenes weren't as big as the movie Vertical Limit which has a lot more action scenes. But it kept me interested. It was sad and made me wonder why people would risk their lives like that. It was well written and acted.

Didn't get to see this movie when it was out in the theaters so pleased to have purchased it when I did. I paid less for it as part of Best Buy's black-Friday movie offerings versus what I would have paid to have seen it when it was first released in the theaters.

It is amazing what people are capable of doing to achieve their dream. even if it means dying. This is a true story that shows the bravery of those leading the expeditions and when the weather changes, how it affects those trapped on the mountain. Overall, very good movie.

This movie has a good storyline and was an awesome 3-D movie and with the surround sound put you right in the middle of the movie. Must-have for your 3D collection or if you just collect quality movies. Don't forget this is based on a true story, makes it more compelling.

Everest is a great movie that really takes you in and makes you feel like you are climbing Everest a long with the characters. The story starts off a little slow but brings you in close with the characters and keeps you in suspense once you reach the mountain.

This UHD disc is one of my favorites to show off my surround sound. Yes the picture is top notch, but the sound is the real show here. Your sub woofer gets a real work out and the sound effects really seem to put you in the movie on Mount Everest yourself

The story for this was a pretty good one...maybe a bit embellished at times but nothing over the top. The real winners here for though are the visuals and the audio. the vistas looked phenomenal on my plasma TV and the audio had my Rythmik sub working over time.

The film is superb in terms of visuals. The mountains, camps, glaciers nowhere look graphical. Despite showcasing an important phase of history and technically made well, the film fails to become a memorable one. the film doesn't dramatize much of the sequences.

What an epic great story of rob hall who is a professional mountain climber slash tour guide who Commercialized rock climbing. This is a unforgettable story and an awesome awesome movie to Watch! The actors and cast are so inspirational you just can't go wrong with this movie!

I've been looking for the new 4k movie format to play on Xbox one s....which plays 4k movies...the degree of crispness of colors and details is incredible...keep in mind you need a 4k tv and 4k capable hdmi...definitely worth buying comes with blue ray and digital movie as well

Based upon a true story; I initially owned the 3D version which was spectacular. Since I now own an LG C7P, I can't play 3D films. Replaced it with the 4k version. One of the best 4k disks that I've viewed.

If you want a movie to view the 4k experience then this would be a great choice. It takes a lot of courage to scale Everest and there are still about 200 frozen bodies that lay upon the mountain. It is a chilling, no pun intended, story that does not disappoint.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie, especially in 4K UHD. I still buy mostly Blue ray movies and only spend the extra when the movie has high ratings for special effects, scenery, or action. This one fit the bill!

WOW what a movie , all the twixt and turn really made this movie enjoyable. Get your popcorn ready because you will not want to stop this movie and if you see it in 3d the snow and the wind pop out of the screen at you and you see how it feels to be on the world tallest mountain.

The 4K video is amazing, colors and detail some of the best I have seen to date. Wife is not a video buff and even she thought it was incredible. Of course, the story is powerful when you think this actually happened and how nature can be very unforgiving.
