This was an awesome TRUE story. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I would highly recommend. Very educational about what is actually involved in climbing Mt Everest and how hard and dangerous it really is. Very well done !

This is s good movie. Not sure about rewatchability but it is a good watch and addition to your collection. The 3-d is ok probably a lot better on the big screen. Not too much action so don't be misled by the trailers

Though it was based on a true story I have never herd of the events. Was decently glued to the screen with this one. It's crazy what people go through just to climb this mountain with anything going wrong at anytime

Didn't know much about the 96 disaster on Everest until watching this movie. Was so taken by it I immediately bought and read the book. The two go great together, but obviously much more detail in the book.

I good story and a great visual experience. Still asking why anyone would want to go through this grueling adventure at such massive costs on all levels. I'm satisfied to watch others crazy enough to take this on.

Great job telling the story of some real adventurous men. based on real events. was disappointed in the ending but if its based on a real life events what can you really say, it is what it is. still worth the watch

This is a good movie based on a true story-and if you have the capability of watching it in 3D, it adds a better element to it. The 3D works well for this movie. It moves along quite well and is pretty interesting.

This movie is based on a true story and kept well to the actual events. The scenery is beautiful and there is a lot of action. The movie really shows how amazing these climbers are and the real dangers they encounter to climb Mt. Everest.

My wife I watched this about 2 years ago or so when it came out in theaters, boy was it nerve wrecking. With my 65" and 5.2.1 surround sound it is still nerve wrecking the audio scenes are outstanding

I was wondering how will i appreciate something that couldnt really be filmed even though it exists. Was done so believable and beautiful. The story is exemplary. You also have to watch the documentary which shows the real survivors

Fun Fantastic and very good movie of a real life experience You could really feel how cold these men were as they were trapped on one of the greatest Mountains. The family will enjoy this movie but it's not for little ones 9 and under. .

Everest is based on a true story of a team of armature climbers being led up the infamous mountain. The cinematography is incredible and the story line and acting is great. Warning-it is based on a true story that is pretty sad.

This movie completely exceeded my expectations! Great 3D is used throughout this movie, as well as breath taking photography. You will feel like part of the climbing expedition from the safety of your own home! Heavily recommended!

Everest did a phenomenal job of capturing the spectacle that is the World's tallest mountain. The visuals are amazing. The acting was good, and the story, based on an actual event, was genuine although tragic.

Unlike many of the fictitious stories told in the movies today, this one is unpredictable if you do not know ahead of time what happened in real life. This is definitely a well-filmed, realistic suspense film based on a true story.

This is the third true to life film about mountain climbing gone horribly wrong that I've seen, it definitely captured my attention and was quite realistic seeming with all the various tragedies that befall humans in high altitudes.

It is an incredible story, with not one selfish performance in the bunch. But seeing it in IMAX, them at home on tv...you lose the insanely beatutiful, scary vastness of the setting. Still, don't miss it.

Thought this movie was very good. Kept me on the edge of my seat, especially in 3D. The effect was just right showing the scale of the mountain and no 3D tricks. Highly recommend the movie, in any format.
