I thought this was going to be more of an action film going in and wasn't aware of it being based on a true story. That being said I was pleasantly surprised by this film and it looked great in 4k

I didn't know the outcome of the story even though I heard of the real-life incident, which made the ending all the more powerful. This movie is well-photographed, well-acted, and inspiring in its survival themes.

I bought this blu-ray to demo ATMOS on my new system after already watching the download version. Photography is stunning and the blu-ray version looks great, can't wait to see it in 4k.

It's not as good as some of the other Xmen movies but still a good watch. It shows some of the main characters in their younger years. Definitely worth a watch if you're a Marvel fan,

I like movies based on real stories and when they give info about the characters, which this one did. Great acting and footage of the mountain. I was glued to the screen watching the events unfold. Highly recommend.

Great movie, true story and very visually stunning on a 4k set up. With the price if you are trying to build up your 4k library or just looking for a good movie to watch.

Everest is a really good movie that shows a group of people who go every year to climb Mount Everest but this time something goes wrong and a storm hits them and it's a sad movie but the filming is done well.

This movie looks fantastic in 4K. The HDR adds a ton to the depth of the colors. Fantastic visuals and excellent sound. For reference I am running these on a 7.1 Dolby atmos surround sound, and LG oled tv

After getting my Best Buy 65" curved 3D TV last year, I decided I wanted to collect all 3D movies available. This one might give you vertigo and make you sick. Like "Gravity". Highly recommend for the 3D user.

In the movie they say you are literally dying on top of the mount Everest, and the whole story is intense and feels like you are with them trying to survive, impressive suspense movie.

Truly exceptional camera work and awesome scenery in this true tale. Mountain climbing became absurdly commercialized and people tried buying their way to the top. In the end, the mountain won. Of course.

This movie had a nice true story effect to it. It has a sad ending though. I think there could have been a little more to it though to create a little more interest to the plot.

I wasn't sure if I really wanted to watch this movie but I'm glad I did. It was very well acted, great scenery and the 3d is quite good. With 3d or without it is a movie worth watching!

This was a very emotional film that touched on a lot of different human internal battles. Helping others while mainting the ability to survive....plus it had a fellow Texan in the film!

I enjoy movies that are based on actual events. This movie was very enjoyable. It was somewhat predictable but still worth watching. I would definitely recommend watching this movie.

One of my new favorite movies on 4K definitely worth seeing multiple times because the scenes go by very fast and you might miss something, but great overall movie.

Saw this movie in the theater, and had to have it for my movie library. It is based on the book by Jon Krakauer Into Thin Air. The movie is outstanding, and fairly faithful to the book. It is a must see!

A good story based on a real event, makes us think about how there are people who take so many risks just because of the recognition that they climbed the everest.

This is a solid blu-ray release. The film itself is quite interesting and exciting. The disc is also packed with extras, which is a huge plus. Highly recommended for film buffs.

Great CGI shots. Scenes looked relatistic. Some earth shaking, teeth ratting omens throughout the film. Now I know why I would never attempt something like that in my own life.
