Great movie great story except it's a sad one. All of the characters are so real you truly feel for them as they go through the story.

I always wanted to watch this movie but missed it at the cinema. Best Buy had it on sale for $9.99 and it was well worth the purchase.

What a great movie based on real events! Good character development brought the characters to life. The scenery is breathtaking and the 3D effects stunning!

Everest has a great landscape film – the mountain looks by turns like a silty ocean floor and the sulphurous crust of an alien planet .

Excellent true story movie... and clean of filthy language and such... but whatever you do- don't let your pregnant wife watch... she cried for hours...

Great cinematography, But how can you miss with Everest as your focal point. This movie is better seen in 3D, even in your home HD Tv.

I don't know how they were able to CG some of these shots. But with all the fighting amongst the climbers keeps you rooting for your team. A+++

We bought this movie so we could download in 4K to watch on our new Samsung 4K TV.. Good movie if you are into hiking/climbing.

The visuals and sound are excellent. This is the best adaptation (other than the book "Into Thin Air") covering the events of the 1996 climb of Everest.

Purchased because of the 3D capability with the backdrop of Everest. The story line is not stellar but, in 3D, it plays very well!

The Dolby Atmos mix is amazing. Dolby Laboratories actually uses this movie as a demo disc.

Get one to get on blue ray. A lot of wide angle shots and really gives you the feel of being there. From everything I saw stayed close to the real events

I'm sure there is plenty that is unknown with this story but it was a very interesting take on what could have possibly taken place.

All about survival. Some edge of your seat stuff. But mostly man vs the elements. Was ok, not what it could have been. Worth seeing
