Missed seeing this one theatrically, so when Best Buy offered it up for a great price online I took advantage of it. Looking forward to watching it, looked good :)

Good movie overall but a fairly quiet and un-exciting ending. It could be much better actually. Its not in the same league of The walk, Martian, Interstellar or Gravity.

Never answered why they do it. Guide preaches safety, gives in at a critical time, dies of stupidity. Others would have lived if he did the right think, go down now.

Liked this movie but I wont be in for another time even after few months. Meru was much interesting than this and falls into similar genre. Anyways, a good movie...

It's a true story so I'm not saying they needed to make it something that it wasn't but I don't think I was prepared for how bleak it was.

It's Everest, the biggest mountain on the planet, and one wonders not only how you make it up but how you will make it back down. Found out in this drama.

A lot of production value in the film. However, I really didn't care for it. I do think if I was in the mood for a movie like this I would have rated it better.

I realize people died and that should not be sensualized but the movie was not well told. Beforehand, all I knew was it was climb on Everest where they met an epic storm as they were climbing. I was confused who was who, did not or was it explained what the climbing terminology was, the storm came and suddenly everyone was dead and the movie ended abruptly with brief bios in the credits about the real people. A documentary would have been a better approach. Bad filmmaking.

This movie was ok it starts out very slow, filled with suspense and it was a tragic movie but was boring. I would rent the movie instead of buying it instead.

Although the movie has a great cast it felt short to deliver. If you like movies like Alive, K-2, and Vertical Limit than you would enjoy this one.

Photo be much better but on curved big screen television screen Blu-ray it would come out a lot for the scenery subpar movie subpar plot as well

The movie started out really slow, but it got better about halfway in. It's based on a true story so I really enjoyed watching the extras.

the scenery was spectacular in hd. The movie wasn't bad. I def expected more. I didn't care to watch it a second time. So I would say average.

This movie wasn't very good. It told the story well, but the previews don't match the movie and it will leave you sad after watching

The 3 D effects are disappointing. Nothing that pops out. Just good perspective. The movie is decent, not the film of the year though.

This was a decent disaster/survival movie. Nothing special but entertaining enough. The picture and sound on this blu-ray are awesome!

The movie moved too slowly for me at the beginning. I really tried to get into it, but it took me a few times to watch the whole movie.

This movie looks great with a wonderful blu ray transfer and sounds great as well. Video 4.5/5 and audio is 5/5. The problem with this is the story. I felt like i was duped into watching a documentary instead of a movie. When it comes to a movie, i want to be entertained and told mostly the truth. Not only the truth on a blan diet of realism but it was somehow making the thrill of life and death for these people, BORING.

A pretty good reflection of how the days evolved and everyone pretty much knows how it ends. Very enjoyable movie considering.

...This movie is for you. Big mountain, lots of climbing. And snow. Definitely for snow and mountain enthusiasts.
