This movie started out very awesome the sites of Everest and all that they go through was amazing. Sadly the truth on this story was hard to swallow and very depressing in the end. I will never watch this DVD again.

I could not get past people taking a chance on their lives or prove nothing but to say I did it .don't get me wrong I understand it , but mess up family was crazy to me

Bland story. Previews were misleading. Ill never watch it again. Waste of time.

Not a feel good film, goes on forever. Wish I wouldn't have purchased.

I knew what the movie was about, and I watched it with a friend. While we enjoyed it, we had very little sympathy for the characters. They knew the danger they were facing, and I assume that they knew what they were doing. A few of them died trying to reach the summit, and I did not feel any sadness whatsoever. Furthermore when they reached the top, I almost expected background fanfare music – and it didn't. Of course in real life nothing like this happened. The movie was well done. The characters were believable (although I did not care for one man who put himself in danger - leaving his wife at home), but it is almost like watching a documentary of what happened to these people. Some movies can be watched repeatedly, but this one it is not.

Movie was good but not the thrill I expected. The 3D was at moments entertaining but for the most part lackluster. Story is engaging but ultimately anticlimactic. A good watch but probably just a shelf occupier now for the foreseeable future

I saw this movie in the theater and really enjoyed it. There are some uplifting moments as well as some heartbreaking ones. Overall I recommend watching it.

Saw this movie in the theater...felt like I was on Everest with them. Can't wait to see this on Bluray. Great cast. Based on a true story.

I watched this movie for the first time on a plane back from London. And I knew I had to buy it! I love my digital copy download and the blu-ray disk. The DVD was just a bonus in the set.

The first part of the movie is slow, but it's based on true events so they had too film this part so you can get a background of the events overall good show.

This movie was nice to watch in Blu-ray. The color and contrast of the scenes were great! The sound was very good, and was exceptional when you have surround sound.

Great movie, very emotional and undeniably beautiful. Makes you understand and fear the great mountains. It's a thrill ride and a great one for any movie collection.

I didn't know anything about this true story until I saw it in IMAX 3D... I purchased the 3D blu ray first day out and you will enjoy every minute of this adventure

Didn't remember the events of this movie when they happened. This movie did a great job of telling the tragic events of that day.

The ensemble cast did a great job bringing the key players of this tragic event to life. The visuals were breathtaking. Overall a great film.

This is an excellent movie based on a true story, which makes the events of the film all the more terrifying.
