The daughter is a lesbian and because her mother isn’t 100% on board accepting it (because she describes her girlfriend to her father as her ‘friend’) she (the daughter) wants to destroy the universe in every dimension. The mother bounces around the parallel universes being threatened by her daughter till the end and accepts her being a lesbian and the movie ends.

What a confusing mess!

Its few decent fight sequences didn't make sitting through the rest worthwhile. Better watch BULLET TRAIN if it's action you're after.
