It works/performs as expected and the purchase "Price was right". I am satisfied with the purchase so far (only the passing of time can prove longevity). I can heartily recommend this power supply if it meets your wattage requirements.

I chose this one for a home theater server build because it had 9 SATA connectors. Could not tell it was open box other than the sticker on it.

I’ve never smelled that before and that concerned me if something was burning or melting. Could’ve just been a faulty piece.
