    couldn't find anything with more watts for less money at the time , and the fact that its partially modular is a bonus to keeping my new case less cluttered, i just wish the8-pin PCIe cabled were end to end and didnt have that dumb design where its like three connectors on one cable, makes it look cluttered

    Picked this up after adding a second graphics card and additional hard drive. The cooling fan is quiet and with the modular plugs, I don't have any extra cables lying around. Each SATA power cord has three SATA plugs allowing it to supply multiple drives. Side note: 850W is more than enough for most rigs.

    grate PSU had no problems but i did read a lot of stuff on it and starting to think they are lies it has not stoped working it has not melted just runs like a normal PSU

    I wasn't planning on even getting a power unit but turned out my new graphics card has a dual 8 pin connector. So I rushed over to Best Buy at a quarter til 9 and I was very happy to see they had one in the same brand over alot of my other stuff. It fit right in and worked right away. Great showing from EVGA as always.
