Purchased this 850 bronze series PSU at $69, which was a steal. I bought it for an ethereum mining rig that I was adding gpu's to. As measured at the wall, I'm at 700 watts but the 12 volt rail is only putting out 11.38v. might just be a defect, I am considering contacting evga to see if it is something they cover in returns, or if this is expected performance from a bronze series psu

I had originally purchased another variation on line from another vendor but it was backordered. This item was both rated higher and cheaper as well. The 850 watts gives me plenty of opportunity to upgrade my computer in the future.

Used the power supply in my self build computer. Great selection of connectors and hooked up well with mb.

This is the second PSU I have purchased from EVGA. I started to buy EVGA modular PSU's because I noticed the quality was above average on the EVGA parts.

Make absolutely sure when you buy this that the cables are pinned correctly. I have been battling with EVGA for 2 weeks now about this. The power supply I bought was defective, unfortunately I did not in any way inspect it before putting it in my existing working system. I figured, quality control did that for me. Wrong. This garbage was pinned incorrectly, and fried to hdd's and a disk drive instantaneously. The company won't hear anything of it and offers to give me a new unit without so much as looking at what it did, and offering any sort of compensation. I will never buy from EVGA again, and neither should you. Get yourself a Corsair or Rosewill.

Works really well with my current build, haven't noticed any problems with anything as of yet, stays cool and does exactly what i need.

Honestly was kinda iffy about it considering it was a Bronze but for the price it gave me an extra umph to cover any extra wattage needed.

am using it with an sli system , 2ssd in raid 0 and four 7200 rpm hard drives , six fans and 2 dvd players .....no problems . For the money is great

Been using for 10 months and still working perfectly. Fan is not noisy, looks sturdy, and handles my workstation PC pretty nicely.

The only reason for taking away a star is because of the loud beep when initializing. Using this item for a custom build.Mostly a gaming system, but one that runs 6-12 hours a day and longer on weekends.

Bought a power supply from Amazon and it came faulty, thank God for the best buy nearby had this in stock and works like a charm.

My desktop has a Phenom II 965 cpu with 2-2 gig graphics cards and 32 gigs of ram. More power for multi-tasking.
