Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the BR Series 700W power supply's performance, price, quiet operation, and ease of installation. Many appreciate its reliability and value for the money. However, customers are negative about the non-modular design, citing challenges with cable management as a result. Some users also reported issues with coil whine and, in a few cases, premature failure of the unit.

I purchased this power supply as it was the only power supply available at the local best buy that had 4 pcie 6x2 connectors. It works perfect and have had no issues. I wish a gold version was available for efficiency reasons, but this worked and was in stock for immediate pickup.

Very reliable, decent price compared to other PSUs, sleek black cables so no "ketchup and mustard" to worry about. I use EGVA often in builds for customers as well as my own personal build.

Parts for a gaming build for my grandson. I love being able to shop online and pick up at the store. Convenient, quick service, and no porch pirates! Every item went together perfectly and the build fired right up! Great service.

Worked like a champ, straight from the box. Had plenty of connector options. Cables were well protected. Great replacement for the dead power supply in my Dell XPS 8930 desktop tower.

Solid product, works as expected. Quiet operation and provided a significant upgrade over previous power supply. Seems well built, and would highly recommend if you are ok with a non modular power supply

    Really bad coil whine

It supplies power and that's the only upside. The PSU causes some kind of electronic interference noice with my mouse and makes a high pitched sound when moved. Tried all USB ports, different wall plug, disconnected speakers, etc. Noise was def coming from the PSU. Also, my GPU had noticeable coil whine under load. At least I thought it was the GPU. Replaced this power supply yesterday with another brand that was 50w less and what do you know, mouse interference noise and coil whine went away. Sadly missed the return window by 10 days.

Replaced a power supply that was under powered. Specifications on this one show a efficency of 84% at the application it was purchased for. Instulation was breadboarded at first and checked for the application with good results.

Perfect for powering my streaming PC. Doesn't have incredible bells or whistles. Non-modular cabling. But... it's absolutely consistent. Have no issues at all with this guy.

Works fine, system is stable (i5-11600k, RTX 3070ti), coil whine, however, is beyond reasonable. Get something nicer if you have sensitive hearing.
