Defective

It plugged in much more easily and securely than the PSU I was replacing, and I had no trouble with it for about a week. Then my computer spontaneously rebooted a few minutes into starting a game. And kept doing that during any graphics-intensive program. I spent more than a week trying to diagnose the problem. My build is only a few months old, but already I've had two brand new parts fail either out of the box, or within weeks. It seemed at first that this time I had been hit with the notorious 5700 XT GPU curse, but as a last-ditch attempt, I switched back to my old 600w PSU, and just like that, problem solved. I plugged this one back in once to be absolutely sure, and sure enough the sudden reboots were back. Of course it was just my luck that by the time I confirmed this I had missed the very short return window by only three days. Now I have a faulty product I can't even sell on ebay, $80 down the drain. I can RMA I suppose, and sell my working PSU as I had originally planned, but I paid more for this PSU and I've already thrown so much money at diagnosing the various problems I've been having with DOA motherboards and a CPU that died after a month of not even being overclocked or overheated. Quite disappointed that you only get 15 days to have a problem and figure it out before it's too late to get your money back. I'll stick to amazon from now on I guess.
