After moving up to 1440p resolution from an older 1080p monitor my old trusty GTX 980ti was starting to run hotter as well as not being able to push 60 fps steadily playing Battlefield V on high settings. So after doing some research I decided it was time to bump it up & since GTX 1080ti cards are high priced I opted for a 20 series RTX 2070 XC Ultra since a 2080 was still out of my price range. So far the card is serving me well & runs somewhat cooler. The RGB leds are pretty neat to have as well.

You will not be disappointed. Your wallet might take the hit initially but I am absolutely satisfied with the performance of this card. It's strong, quiet and even has a little bit of RGB Lighting. Literally my biggest issue is just that this version of the card didn't have a sticker included that I can put on my PC case. Otherwise this is a great purchase

For the ill-informed, if you get this card you will walk away very happy, this card is very powerful that offers support for some of the lastest RTX Titles, of the 3 that exist. lol. very solid card with adequate cooling and easy overclocking interface. Overall im pretty happy, but I think if I had to do it over, I wouldve saved for the 2080 or just bought a used 1080ti.

Pros: The performance of this card is amazing. I run all my games at 1440p turned all the way up and don't miss a frame. The card also stays quite cool under load, under 60c. Cons: Price. As great as the performance is, it comes with a high price tag. Honestly, that is the only thing I could say negative about the card. Other: Be aware this is a 3 slot card. Ensure you have 3 slots available on your board. Also, it is not as long as the 3-fan models and will not hang as far over the edge of the motherboard. Makes a great fit if your using a smaller case. As always, give it as much air flow as you can for best results.

When RTX came out (2070, 2080, and the 2080ti) these cards weren't such a solid deal over the 10 series cards. Now that they've been out and prices have somewhat dropped, I can say these are worthy upgrades for anyone wanting to get more performance out of their 1440p high-refresh-rate monitors. This particular model has an almost-3-slot thick heatsink, which is actually pretty quiet and cool. Under heavy load, with auto-fan control I only hit around 66-67 Celsius. Some of the reference 2070s hit higher than upper 70s and are somewhat noisy. Great step up for me over my GTX 970 SSC.

WOW pretty much sums it up. Not only does this card perform phenomenal it is sweet looking. I had the 6 gig version of the 1060 and that did pretty good but this yeah it blows that 1060 away I mean like way way blows it away. I'm going on an average of 60 to 100 frames per second with my 1060 and I'm well up over 200 frames per second with this 2070 UC ultra. When I upgrade my 1060 to this card I was hoping for a little bit of a noticeable difference I didn't expect nowhere near what I'm getting in difference of quality frame rates speed this card is just mind-blowing. And even funnier it usually doesn't get any higher than about 80° and Idol it's actually cooler than that where is my 1060 was a lot hotter. If you've got the money I highly suggest getting this card. If you're going from like a 1060 like I had which I had the six gig version so it was a better card than the standard 1060 going up to this card is just awesome I was contemplating going with the 20 80 but that was an additional almost $400 in between this card and the 2080 what I understand I would have not noticed a huge difference. Now I'm hoping they come out with more games that support RTX. I did check out Doom with the Vulcan version and the graphic quality is mindblowing and getting over 200 fps is nice. If I could give this card more than five stars I would have it is so well worth the money.

What do I say about this card? I upgraded from an EVGA 980 sc and the results-difference is massive. At 1440p this monster breaks 100 frames on most titles at high to ultra settings. Downloading the X1 software is a must for over clocking and proper fan management. The fans are extremely quiet even running at 90% (I enjoy keeping my setup cooler than most). Aesthetically, it's a heavy and beautiful card. Setup is straightforward into your compatible motherboard with pci cables. Ray tracing is still a promised feature that you will get minimal use out of until more game devs include it as a feature. Otherwise this card is 4k ready and still in the infantile stages of its drivers, meaning it's performance can still go up through updates. Considering the alternatives, the 8gb of vram was a massive increase from my older 4gb card. If you are doing intensive gaming above 1080 and above 100 frames, this is the most economical card on the market.

I´ve had this card for around 2 months now and its pretty great. All of my games run very smoothly at 1920x1080, with that the temperatures never exceed 75 degrees celsius without overclocking. Overclocking with the program EVGA Precision X1 is also very easy and straightforward. I´m very happy with this card. If you´re reading other reviews, you´ll see a lot of DOA and failure complaints but I took the risk and it was 100% worth it. My only complaint is that it should be around $500 rather than $600, when you could easily find a deal on a 2080 for $600.

Great Card, Huge upgrade from a GTX 970. Shortly after I purchased this card NVIDIA released the Super line and this card became cheaper. EVGA makes a great card and with some tuning I was running at Super Speeds for no additional cost! The heatsink is Beefy, make sure you have room for a 3 slot card plus at least 1 slot for air flow. Has RGB but its subtle so you can color match your components. Bottom Line, EVGA is the best for Gamers!

I joined the hype of Ray-tracing and I must say it is truly amazing! I upgraded from a gtx 1070 and gained about a 40 FPS boost in just about every game. I would recommend this card for 144hz 1080p gaming or 1440p 60hz gaming. It destroys almost any game at max settings and has amazing rgb lighting. The only downside is the price. Many other versions of this card are cheaper but you pay a premium for the rgb and stock overclocking which performed 20% better than the average bench of a stock card.

While pricey, RTX may just be the future of graphics. Aside from that, I was able to run Fortnite at 1440p at 144 fps, and even 4K at 60fps no problem. Then again, I’m also running it with a 9900k and fast ddr4.

It is good, actually excellent in both 4K and 1080p resolution of games, but not totally in 4k depending on games. So far this card is performing well especially with Destiny 2, Tom clancy's The Division 1 & 2 and Shadow of The Tomb Raider (raytracing). Had no issues, always keep the GPU drivers up to date for the best possible experience. I got it during sales, and you can also get the super or even the Ti version of this when it goes on sale!

I’m not a hardcore gamer and was looking to get the 2070 super version but when I saw the price of the non super I bought it. Even though super offers a good bump in performance I could not pass up $150 less in price for a card I would hardly use for gaming and more for school and work. This is a very good card. Sure the super would offer more FPS but this is plenty at 1440p!!! No regrets.

Sturdy card with epic performance. The 2070 chip is binned to allow overclocking while using less power. The video card is based on the 2080 motherboard design and founder edition components, while being 18 degrees cooler. This is the best quality card I have ever owned and is a big improvement over past EVGA generations. Purchased this ultra card on sale for $550 at Best buy.

After having sometime with the card, benchmarking and playing games, the graphics are far better than the GTX1070 that I have owned. It OCs over 1900 MHZ without even getting the temps higher than 60C after a few hours of game play. Have noticed some issues with the older games, but that is due to not being optimized for the newest cards since they are older AAA titles.
