(stock thermal paste was bone dry...) im giving it a low score because at this price the card should perform equally the same as other cards at this price point.

Card was DOA

However, after a few hours, it crashed, fans ramped up and lost signal to the display. Restarted my computer and still no signal to display. Card was DOA :(

I got the item and box was completely ruined, which sucks for a product that was worth so much. For someone who likes collecting the boxes, this was disappointing.

Worse card than availably from other makers

Once purchased + installed, came to find out that the card is power limited to the point that it can barely meet it's stock clock speeds...and actually performs worse than the $699 Nvidia FE card. At this point the only remedial option is to flash a new non-EVGA BIOS or mod the card - either way potentially violating the card's warranty. It's completely unacceptable for a $769 "premium" 3080 to perform worse than the $699 FE model AND the it's own box specs. If possible buy yourself a Gigabyte or ASUS 3080. They're fantastic cards with great support from their manufacturer, unlike this unsupported/unloved card.

Great GPU
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this card 3 years ago, and it still works great. I use it with 3 monitors: 4k , 1440p, 1440p. My gaming Monitor is a M32U. I get about 90-100fps on most AAA games. Super Quiet too.
