I got this during my first PC Build in about 10 years. It was simple and easy to set up. It runs anything on ultra at over 165 fps. RGB is subtle for effective!

I have a 1440 144hz monitor and this graphics card makes hitting that 144 in majority of games (even most AAA) a breeze.

Card looks cool with RGB and 2.5" cooler. Rand everything on high to ultra-settings on a 27" LCD 144Hz and 1440p monitor.
Cons: Card develop an issue that it would stay within 55C making the fans turn off then back on at 100% speed and back off none stop. Until the fans stay up and running that is all you saw, and it sounded like an old mechanical hard drive with clicking on and off.
Overall great graphic card if you can get one without the odd issue.

Great card for 4k 60fps on most titles. Can't max out RE3 but can run at 4k 60 as long as you pay attention to VRAM usage. Would be amazing with 12gb of VRAM but still a leap up from my 1080 8gb SSC in 4k. Even if it's bottlenecked by the lack of VRAM.

The most honest and thorough review for this card

Amazing card. Completely broke now but worth it in every single way. This review is for the non-wealthy and humble gamers out there who enjoy the story, visuals and experience. If you are arrogant/wealthy and all you care about are numbers, criticizing people online about their builds and just stare at your FPS counter all the time while gaming, please move on.
This card laughs at every game you can throw at it in 1440p with all setting MAXED out. Games in 4k really well, but not at 100 percent max settings. Overclocked however, I've hit a touch over 60 FPS in every game I have including Final Fantasy XV with max settings. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 OC'd to 4.2 on all cores along with 16 GB DDR4 RAM at 2933 MHZ. It is for this reason and this reason alone I chose this card over the 2070 Super. The RTX 2070 Super struggles with 4K even when overclocked. The 200 dollar added premium from the 2070 to 2080 is worth it honestly, because I don't have buyers remorse of not getting the 2080ti and spending 500 more, but am still able to game in 4k in the future if I want to use that option, which the 2070 struggles with.
Honestly, really makes a negligible difference visually between 1440p and 2160p unless you stick your nose literally on the screen, allowing for your nose grease to get your monitor oily. But no normal person games like this with their eyes half an inch away from the screen. Stick with 1440p with higher frame rates, smoother gameplay, less heat and stress on your card and save yourself 500 dollars over the 2080ti, which only gives you a 10 - 15 percent performance boost over this card.
Enables 4k video playback on your PC. All of my movies and video playback quality have significantly improved because of this card.
Allows for custom resolutions with or without DSR. I run 1440 and 2160 with a 1080p monitor.
Ultra quiet, even at full load. My fans have never gone over 70 percent with an aggressive custom fan curve.
Stays cool. Metal backplate is amazing. Significant overclocking ability on a factory overclocked card. I added +100 MHZ on the core clock and +750 MHZ on memory clock with stock voltage and power limit and the card never goes over 70 Celcius. 2150 MHZ on base clock and 8500 MHZ on mem clock is what pushes this card to game in 4k at max settings on 60 FPS.
The only NEGATIVE about this card is that is has a little bit of coil whine if you are pushing uncapped FPS, like 100+. Not all buyers will get coil whine, but most will and it's usually due to a combination of different hardware pieces, an old/unstable power supply or running ultra high frame rates.
I noticed that my coil whine completely ceases if I enable V-Sync, but even with the coil whine and v-sync off, it is not really audible over my speakers, plus I took my PC side panel off for better airflow and it still is not annoying. Just make sure you have good airflow, cooling and a good, stable PSU. I honestly use a metal house fan blowing on the side of my PC at an angle and this gives me an extra 5-6 degrees of cooling. Very ghetto, but it works.
My 1200 dollar stimulus check helped me upgrade a 7yr old PC letting me buy an EVGA 2080 Super XC Ultra, a Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM and an ASRock B450m Pro.
I haven't left my house in months, I could care less about quarantine.

What I expected from EVGA

The 2080 Super is a great card, and EVGA has been an industry leader in board quality for a long time. I originally wanted a 2060 Super but with supply being pretty much non existent during COVID-19 it was difficult to find one. My old card died (fan bearings gave out and card was overheating lol) and being home for an extended period of time I couldn't imagine not getting on and playing games. I really regretted purchasing this but it was the cheapest card my local Best Buy had for sale so that's how I ended up with it. With that being said the higher up you go in graphics card series the less value they offer, 50% more money for 15% more frames is never a smart or purchase. The 2080 Super is a horrible value and I wouldn't recommend it for most people. With that being said there are a few benefits from the card, 8GB of ram has been really helpful in some games and quite a bit of headroom in terms of overclocking with the really cool temps this cooling solution offers should be helpful down the line after owning this for a few years and its starting to struggle. Performance is better than I expected as well it really shrugs off modern games and paired with a g-sync monitor its a real treat to use. "RTX ON" is a better meme then feature in my opinion. Are you are playing competitively? RTX OFF. Do you want to use your high refresh rate monitor? RTX OFF. It's a beautiful experience to see how life like modern games can look with RTX ON but it's a feature reserved for solo play on certain games in my opinion, and is in no way worth upgrading for in its current capacity. A generation or two from now RTX ON may be the best thing to happen to gaming since Direct X 9 but right now you are paying the early adopter fee. If you are looking at a new graphics card I recommend any of what EVGA offers, great customer support and an awesome warranty are what keep me a loyal customer of theirs. I recommend the 2060 super or hold off for the 3000 series to drop later in 2020.

I bought a 2080 super and I guess it came broke cause I installed it and there’s lines running through the graphics and it’s not my monitors so I was told I got sold a faulty GPU and I can’t find a section to return it or find out anything I can do

3D Mark puts my build with this in the top 92 percent of PCs that ran the benchmark.
Pros:
No heat issues (haven’t tried OC)
Ray tracing looks amazing if you think you would be into that!
Feels like the best I need for gaming. It runs all the games I like at max spec and doesn’t slow down.
Seems like it will feel premium for a long time.
Cons:
1hdmi 3Diaplay Port
I have mostly uses for hdmi, so I needed adapters. It makes sense though since you can’t convert hdmi to DP.
High price.
Overall:
I love how everything looks better with it!

Got this after my 2070 Super was defective at MicroCenter. I can't hate on them because they made it right, but I was glad to pick this up on the way.
Great running 2080 Super on par with what people have benchmarked it at. Mild coil whine but keeps very cool and the RGB works through software.
Consistently 120-140 fps on Doom Eternal, Control, etc at 1440p. Haven't tested 4k yet. Ray Tracing is nice, but big damper on performance.
Runs PS2 emulator well.

I recently updated my computer with new internals. Replacing the video card was a must since my old card was a 970GTX. This card performs very well overall. It runs most games on at least high, and a few at extreme. It’s not the best card on the market but the price point is decent for what it does. I don’t play many of the newer, high requirement games that really need a top of the line card so this was a decent buy. If you’re looking to run everything on extreme I suggest paying the extra money to have a real monster.
Installation is easy. Just snap it in and play in power.
Unless you’re really paying attention you might miss that it’s highly suggested that you buy a support bar for this card as it is a little on the bulky side. On my MOBO this GPU blocks access to my SATA ports; but that’s an issue with the location of those ports on the board, and I can still use the ports (they just aren’t accessible from the front of the case.
The RGB feature is nice. Mine is set to red, the default (I think) was blue. After installing the software for the controller you can personalize it for yourself.
I’d buy it again, hopefully the cost comes down a little. GFX cards are one of the most expensive parts you’ll buy for your computer. Spend the money and get the best one you can afford to help future proof your box.

Really good card! I always do the 80s. The Ti’s are a bit much. For 1080p gaming is clearly the best option
