I was originally trying to pick up a 3080 on release day but was unable to. So i ended up getting a 2070 super which had the best price to performance of last gen cards. And would still be able to compete in running AAA games for a while. Great build quality and is overclocked out of the box. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

I can definitely tell the difference. Games played on ultra settings with 2k monitor. Pretty solid build and price, cant complain.

I bought this and signed up for EVGA step up so I'm guaranteed a 3080 when they are finally available, but in the meantime this is a major upgrade!

Got an LG 4k monitor but had to stick to 1440, 4k looked gorgeous but was unplayable with the 1060 to be competitive. Now I play everything in 4k.

Not sure if this is something that is a one off or is more common, but this graphics card is loud under load. And not just fan noise - the coil whine can get pretty shrill.
