It is a power supply and does what it says
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed it in my fathers computer so he could upgrade to a powered video card. (His previous power supply had no pci-e connectors). Installed fine and runs new card with no issues.

Great units for the price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a lot of builds that I needed to get done as a system builder during the big power supply shortage 3-5 months ago. This power supply was always in stock and performed amazingly well for my mid-high end systems. I am not sure how many that I have purchased from here but I probably purchased this power supply 7-8 times so far and all have worked great. Highly recommended.

Exc PS and price point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at quite a few Power supplies and this one was best bang for the buck on sale. I have it running in a tower I7 and GT650 video card. No hickups and it runs rather silent. No need to spend 100.00+

Replaced Problematic 650wtt Corsair
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was having random reboot issues with my wife's AMD FM2+ 4 core 3.5ghz CPU setup w/16G DDR3, 2 SSD's, 1 500GB mechanical and R9 270 2GB video card. Did tests on CPU, RAM, HDD's with nothing showing as to what was causing the reboots (I neglected to stress the video card and I'm sure that would have caused a reboot). This PSU was on sale so I thought I'd grab a couple. Installed and not one random reboot since.. working great at a great price. Thanks!

Good enough
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.600W is probably more than you need, even though it seems like the low end of wattages. This is good however, as the "butter zone" for power suplies -where they are most efficient- is usually around high mid of total. This one is basic 80 plus rated, which means that it will convert your wall outlet AC power to computer-usable DC power at 80% efficiency or higher at loads of 20%, 50%, and 100%. Bronze and up increase that efficiency, all the way to titanium so far, which at the time of writing has efficiency standards of: 10% load-90% efficiency 20% load-92% efficiency 50% load-94% efficiency 100% load-90% efficiency Why do you care? the lower efficiency your power supply, the higher your power bill, as more power is drawn from the wall to meet the same demand AND What happens to the waste power that is not converted? It becomes waste heat, which drags down every component of a build. SSD run slower, the PSU is less efficient, your CPU and GPU won't boost as high, or maintain it as long (particularly noticeable with NVIDIA GPUs, where it is always beneficial for them to be cooler, all the way down to subzero temps). So the Verdict? EVGA is a very reputable brand, and if you are building a PC that isn't going to be running 24/7 or only sees moderate gaming or editing work, this might just be the ticket for you, as the price is a big selling point. It checks the major two boxes for PSU purchasing: 80+ rated and from a reputable manufacturer. If the computer that this would go into is a gaming beast, or frequently/heavily used, I recommend going with a Gold rated or higher, as it will pay the difference off within a year or two of power savings usually, and overall system performance will benefit slightly. PS: It's non modular also, which can be a bit of a pain.

Best of the Best Power
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy to install. My first time ever repairing my own PC. I have always known about this brand, inasmuch, as I have always had my computers built. What intimidated me most were all the plugs. I followed the plugins from old power supply and presumed I had it right. I went to power on and nothing. I was OMG. I reinstalled a new battery and I removed the ram cards. Low and behold, I discovered I did not reinstall the Ram cards secure enough. So make sure everything is tight in place. The computer is now operating perfectly. This power supply is quiet, It is so quiet, that I thought it wasn't working. Rest assured this brand is still tops and at a great price. Youtubers tell you to buy expensive power supplies.. When in fact you do not have to. I believe it is the Brand that dictates quality. Note. If you have never changed your power supply and you get a NO signal on screen..don't waste your time buying batteries, new HDM or Ac plugs... Just go get a new power supply. they are priced reasoable.

Good buy for a replacement power supply
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.EVGA's power supplies are an excellent replacement for any desktop computer that have compatible specifications. Beware, all desktop computers do not use the same style power supply, even if they require the same or less wattage. I have used EVGA power supplies for many years as replacements and for custom builds. They have always performed well when not used in overclocked CPU/Memory computers.

Works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a long back and forth with another company that I will leave nameless and getting send TWO bad power supplies of a different manufacturer, we ran to pick this one up from Best Buy in a pinch. Not only did it work perfectly (and is still going strong after several hours of use now) but it was nearly half the price of the first one we ordered. Very happy with this purchase.
