Great replacement for old PC

Great For Simple Builds!

That is, you have mid-tier parts (air-cooled CPU, GPU, etc.), no optical drive, no 3.5" SATA drive, one M.2 boot SSD on the motherboard & possibly one M.2 game/media drive, and that's it. EVGA has always been reliable for me so you cannot go wrong with this PSU!

Does the job without complaint

Picked this one up off the shelf, and swapped it with the old one. The process is seamless. (Just take care to note where different things are connected if you haven't done it. Take detailed pictures before disconnecting the old one.) So far, (about a month) it's been fine.

Great Replacement for your off brand PSU.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be aware that if you get a pre-built gaming PC. The manufacturer tends to cheap out on the PSU. Mine had an off brand 400w PSU that worked fine with the NVIDIA GTW 650 it cam with, but when I replaced the GPU to an NDVIDIA 1060 3gb, I started to have a sudden shutdown problem. Turns out the wattage was not enought anymore, and that's when I found this PSU. As soon as I replaced it I haven't had this problem anymore. This PSU works like a charm!

Quality EVGA At An Affordable Price

EVGA is top quality. Unless you're running a very high end card this will do the trick. With some cable management you will not notice its not a fancy modular. Why pay the premium when you will only notice when you put your rig together. I've built several rigs with this very unit and they fly.
