Really hard to buy a new or build a new computer when the old one just keeps going. Yes I had to upgrade memory, new SSD and now this power supply. My wife uses it every day and she is happy, that makes me happy.

A good starting GPU

For a 450, don't go any higher than a 2060 for a GPU and a Ryzen 5 3600x. That's the best this thing can do as powering up the system.

We needed the computer ASAP, so we ran to Best Buy fully expecting to have only the high end PSUs available (just our luck, no reflection on BB products!). This one almost reached out and launched itself into our cart. It had good user ratings, so we bought it (thanking our lucky stars, this time). We got our rebuild up and running just in time!

Good budget option for older or low power computer

In most cases, I would recommend spending $10 more for the 600 watt when it goes on sale for $40. However, if you are putting this in an older computer that seriously couldn't use the extra power if it tried, then this is a pretty good power supply. I would recommend for this, but know what product you are getting.

Good budget value when I needed it

Got a gaming PC donated to me from a friend that just needed a power supply to bring it to life for my son. I needed it quickly and this model was on sale and available for store pickup so I grabbed it. The PC is still going strong and my son has fully converted from console gaming to PC gaming now. Definitely recommend this power supply if it fits your needs like it did mine.
