I went into this with hopes that this would be some entertaining shlock, but I was severely disappointed. It was more or less about the same as the 2013 reboot in terms of quality. As far as the presentation, I was let down in that area also. I found the dark cinematography murky, which was a letdown, because when it gets to the more over-the-top moments it was hard to tell what was happening. The disc is in HDR10, while the digital download that comes with it has the Dolbyvision version available on Vudu. Recommended only to fans who must have every entry of this franchise. Others I would say just stick with the Sam Raimi/Bruce Campbell installments.

I love this franchise. I enjoyed but preferred the 2013 Evil Dead.

There are a couple of cool gruesome deaths and the end montser reminds me of something of silent hill or the evil within. I guess if you are really into evil dead yhen worth a watch.

Saw this in theaters interesting movie. Me personally i like the original Evil Dead. But had to complete the Evil Dead collection.

4k transfer is awesome, but unfortunately there are no special features.

It's always a waste of money once you open the discs case and found there was a missing part inside. As BB will not accept returns of an opened movie disc case.
