    very poor knowledge of installation

    The person did not have the experience in installing the bike ( he admitted that it's his first time). This is a 2 man job so I have to help him bring the bike package inside. I have to install the apps and wifi connections myself. Lastly, he did not haul the packaging and garbage away and left it behind my front door.

    My appointment time was between 7am and 1pm - they didn't even call until after 1pm and didn't show up until 4pm. The company that Best Buy is using is a stereo install company 2 hours away. The install was done incorrectly but I fixed the issues unfortunately the elliptical I purchased still had knock in it so I asked for it to be fixed. Another "appointment" was scheduled from 7am to 1pm and the guy didn't bother to call until late afternoon. He just told me to return it and there was nothing they could do. Cool. So I initiated another appointment for Best Buy to exchange the elliptical. This time no call and no show and all Best Buy did was create another appointment for next week.

    This service is contracted out to a 3rd party. My delivery window was 7a-1p. When i realized that I was never contacted with a definite window, I started calling. Its Wed Dec 23rd, I had things planned for the evening & they show up @ 5:30pm. I wasted a full day wsiting on them. When I finally spoke with the delivery Mgr. he did his best to make it hood by sending me $100. The installation guys were nice and work hard but after they they left, I found that they tightened a few things so tight that i had to call back for service. The earliest appt. was 11days out. Total care states that they value their customers, I didnt get that impression.

    Do NOT buy this. I literally spent 24 hours total on hold and navigating their phone system (they have it under appliances so no one knows how to deal with it, though you keep getting routed there. 3 no shows, the delivery people just dump and leave and geek squad never shows. Madness. Literally I think I was hung up on 7 times during transfers after investing 2 hours plus each time. I literally spent an entire work day with my cell phone on speaker phone just being on hold and retrying--I did the call back thing about 9 times. It was a nightmare. Just drove to the store and canceled the whole crazy horrible thing.

    Elliptical not working

    Theassembly was done on time, But, the elliptical is not working. The wheel is jammed, or hard and does not move when pedals are pushed. The installer said he only does assembly, and cannot troubleshoot why machine is not working. This does not help at all. I called Bestbuy for help, and the model is not available anymore. They scheduled another installation team to come to look into theinstallation again. But, jokingly, they scheduled the "same" company/assembler again. How is that going to help? not sure. This is not a good experience with Bestbuy. I expected much better service from Bestbuy.

    They arrived on time assemble the equipment perfectly only thing was one of the assemblers had very very poor hygiene manners and that is as nicely as I can put it. After they assembled it they were supposed to show me how it worked they didn't do that he told me that it was assembled it's running and he's pretty much done on his e which was a false statement it was supposed to set it up connected to my Wi-Fi and show me how to operate the machine. The equipment came with a one year membership I've tried using the membership and it does not work so that's why I gave them one star LOL almost forgot they were supposed to take the box downstairs that the equipment came in they do they left it upstairs.

    This service was triaged to a third party company and as a result was cancelled several times/dates from 16-AUG until eventually completed 11-SEPT and only because Geek Squad was able to fit into their schedule after the third party called in sick. This make for a terrible customer service experience and delay in use of my purchase. I would suggest investing in your delivery and installation team internally and supply the quality of service expected from Best Busy.

    Took two months to install elliptical devise. Promised to stall eight times without showing up. Machine works great, however, there is a Hugh problem with getting the unit installed in a timely manner.

    Very poor service - the delivery was a no show and I had to call and get it delivered two weeks later. I paid for assembly via Best Buy to make sure it was done correctly. I am not sure if it’s an issue with the installation or if the elliptical has a defect - it’s very squeaky and moves from side to side when you are on it. It’s not stable. I’ve called multiple times to get Best Buy to come repair it but they keep directing me to scheduling who does not answer the phone or call back when you hold your place in line. Really disappointed, and am not sure how to remedy this.

    Appointment window was originally 7am-1pm but the day before was reduced to 10am-1pm. The technician arrived at 5:10 pm and did not have the correct work order for the service call. He was there to pick up an bike instead of repair an elliptical! He was not able to fix the issue and told us the machine was defective and to go through the manufacture to try to resolve the problem. $1800 and 2 mths later and I’ve only been able to use this equipment 2 times!! It was incredibly difficult to schedule this repair appt and the installation was not done correctly to begin with. I will never shop with Best Buy again!

    Worst Purchase. Dont use Best Buy techs!!

    Our eliptical was delivered and when the Best Buy techs put it together it was unable to be used. We tried calling customer service that same evening but got the run around and the reps that we spoke with asked us multiple times what an eliptical is and transferred to multiple departments. It has been months and Best Buy has not been helpful. We contacted the manufacturer and their tech was unable to fix it. We are hoping for a full refund, but can't drag a broken 300 lbs machine to Best Buy for them to take it back. Very poor customer experience all around. Never wasting my money on Best Buy services again.

    Purchased a Nordic Track elliptical several weeks ago and none of the technicians can repair the problem that was there following installation. I’ve had three service calls including installation. I’ve been to the Best Buy store 4 consecutive weekends. Promises of return calls - nothing. I was told the store manager was gone for two weeks. Clearly, no one in charge of the store who could assist me. Two weeks later….still nothing!
