Stumbled across this at my local Best Buy for $7.99. Great Price, perfect turn the brain off kind of spectacle from Ridley Scott.

A good, solid historical production. Even better with the option of 3-D if you prefer. Not on the same level as "Ben Hur", but ok.

Modern retelling of Old Testament's Moses leading the Israelites out of imprisonment from the pharaoh in ancient Egypt.

This movie was a different and more modern twist to the old classic The Ten Commandments. I like the old version, but this movie was very good.

I bought this movie because it came with a 3d dvd too. I was a little disappointed with the effects not being as 3d as I hoped it would be. Judging from the previews, I thought it would be great with a lot of action packed adventures to really make the images pop out. The storyline was very different from what we've been shown by Hollywood and from the making of The Ten Commandments. It's not a bad movie. I'm glad I got it for the price that I did.

The special effects in this movie were great, the movie as a whole was okay. Just couldn't get my head wrapped around Christian Bale as Moses.

Not true to the Biblical story of this event. Lots of violence. But did portray some of the hardships the Jews endured while in Egypt as slaves.

Not much use exactly for a Bible study though it is basically based on the story in the Bible. As indicated in my review title, he seems like a type of visionary of the Joan of Ark model where it isn't possible to tell if he is just mad or not, except a couple extraordinary things happen like the great wind at the Red Sea.

Although some of the information was not biblical, the overall movie was good. The acting was good and the graphics / cinematography were great!

Not a biblical account necessarily but a good story and definitely a way of understanding the view of those who didn't know G-d.

Again a movie my husband likes its a very good movie in a biblical way they have made so many in the past and I have enjoyed them all

This movie was wonderful. The photography was very realistic. We enjoyed the fact that this story was based on a real person and that the attempt to follow history was accurate. I found the story inspiring and feel that all who watch will feel the same. It was a moving story and am so thankful it was made into a movie.

Another good action movie. While it does not follow the account in the Bible, it is a satisfying movie just for the story and action scenes

As a Christian, I enjoy seeing movies based off biblical times. Although not completely doctrinally accurate we all still enjoyed the movie.

This movie tells the tells of Moses and his journey of finding himself and leading his people to freedom. It was good.

Just like the movie industry to portray the story of Moses in the usual "Hollywood" portrayal filled with inaccuracies.
