I wanted to see this movie when it came out ,but I could not as I was taken care of sick sister. Good movie to watch over again.

Gods and Kings was definitely a good movie to watch. For those of you who like biblical types of movies, this would be a good pick!!

We seem to now be in the era of biblical retelling ("Noah" for example). In order to appreciate these new visions, one must be willing to shake off what they've been taught or read (at least for the duration of the film). Having done this, I found the movie to be quite entertaining. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Good movie but not the normal way that most Moses stories goes. Though the use of a little boy as the visions Moses had of God was weird.

This is a really good movie and watching it 3D makes all the effects and plagues a lot more vivid! Definitely worth to own it in 3D

I had high hopes for this film, given the subject matter and that Ridley Scott was at the helm. Unfortunately, the movie just so-so overall, and I didn't get as emotionally involved as I'd hoped. As expected, the visual effects are impressive, but they can't carry the whole movie. It has it's moments drama-wise, but I had been hoping for Scott to deliver something more. The Blu-ray quality is excellent - great picture, great sound.

Interesting....great photography......some terrific 3d effects. Acting was generally goodthru most of story,but fell down somewhat thru the last part of the film. What was the director and writer thinking with the the depiction of God as a impudent child ??? Oh yeah.....and how about the insultingly minimal effort spent on the "Ten Commandments" ....what were they thinking ? Effects good....writer and director asleep at the wheel.

Enjoyed this movie and it did not disappoint. Special effects met our expectations as we anxiously anticipated seeing the portrayal of the parting of the sea. Though the story features Moses rather than Jesus, it would still make a nice movie to enjoy watching over the Good Friday through Easter holiday weekend.

The effects in the movie was great. Main characters did an excellent job. Can't wait to see what Ridley Scott comes out with next...

The movie in a theatrical effort was great. The visual effects were epic and overall quality was as expected. The story, I thought would appeal to those without a religious denomination and reciprocally would appeal to those with a devout belief. No gore, no nudity, no profanity and overall a great family movie.

Director Ridley Scott's only PG13 rating that I know of. It had a very good story, and acting was superior.

Well, overall this was a disappointing purchase. The casting was very strange, and that alone made it very difficult to enjoy the movie, but some of the scenes were rather silly and seemed to me to just fill up time. The special effects were superb, and the way God was portrayed was very original and quite effective, but that did not compensate for the way a very well-known historical event was rendered rather boring.

Excellent movie and mostly Biblical. I hate it when a non-Christian makes a movie and changes the Bible completely (See Noah with Crowe). Yes, Moses talks to God as a young boy and that was a bit off but the rest was pretty correct. Good effects. I wish they would have done more with the plagues though.

if you're into bible stories you'll enjoy this . bale always with a solid performance

Great graphics, haven't been able to watch 3D version yet, but the theater 3D was awesome. Interesting version of some of the events.

Good movie the only negative thing I can say about it was it had a couple parts that dragged but overall worth checking out..

This version of Moses starts off with Moses as a grown man. This version is more realistic up until the part of when he speaks to God.

A bit too long. The theme and purpose of the film was not clear. Great cinematography and great colors, however a bit too slow paced.
