The special effects were very good. If you are expecting an accurate portrayal of the Bible though this isn't the movie for you. Acting was pretty good with well conceived cinematography. I enjoyed it for what it was.

It's an okay movie. I really enjoy historical films and the visuals and sense of context were great; but the story and character developments were meh. Buy it for a rainy day when there's nothing else to do.

I think this was one of the better 3d movies. i really enjoyed the 3d effects in this film as well as the movie itself. i say it's a must see

I thought that the movie would be more like the latest movie that came out about 2 years ago about Noah and his family. But still good.

Why can't the movie represent what really happened instead of changing things because the director didn't like the way the Bible tells it. So much change just to add dramatic flair.

This movie is a great film for Christians and non-Christians alike. Solid writing, fantastic acting, great CGI... what more could I ask for?

This movie was at odds with what I was raised to believe was factual. It was entertaining to the extent that religion was portrayed as an acknowledgement of a higher power and confirmed my beliefs in that regard.

This movie is a great example of looking at a classic with new eyes. It was wonderfully done. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.

We all know this story, but Ridley Scott decided to tell his own version and it turned into a mediocre affair. The movie was engaging at first but then the movie shifts narrative and loses the viewers interest. Moses is not the same as I remember him, maybe because in this film, Ridley Scott is making him out to be a fighter, a general, a soldier. Also, if you are a religious catholic or christian, you might get offended by the way God is portrayed in the film. The ending was one of if not the most confusing endings I have watched. The plus is that the effects were done well but the story was not.

Really decent 3D in this film, but the movie is somewhat lacking in places and the pacing just feels really off. I think it could have been better and I am hoping an alternate cut of the movie will enhance it.

The purchase was quick quick. Go fetch movie; no one was on line waiting. Cashier rang me up and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Christian bale at his best. They do a great job with all of the CGI in this film. I would recommend this movie on Blu-ray 150%. Good buy!

This movie is a modern day remake of The Ten Commandments. I liked how we got to see more of the other plagues than the 1960s version showed. Overall a decent movie, but the 60s version is still my favorite.

I don't give a 5 star to this movie because some things in the movie don't stick to the real story. Is nice but not like The Passion Of Christ that in some way is much better overall.

This was an Epic Film with a great twist on a different view of the Main character! A must see, hopefully a keeper for you too! Enjoy!

Can't go wrong with Christian Bale, great effects and Ridley Scott behind it all. Still, nothing beats the original Ten Commandments.

I never thought a version of the movie about the Exodus would be better than Charlton Heston's version but this one tops the old one.

This movie was made for blue ray special effects. Parting of the sea was terrific. Bonus content was great. Love BB exclusive extras

I have seen a lot of movies about the Bible, God, Jesus, and even Moses. This movie is very good, and probably the best one yet.
