Many of us have read the story of Moses from the Bible or perhaps another source. Ridley Scott's version has breathtaking cinematography and a lousy storyline. First of all...Moses was approximately 80 years old when God sent him back to Egypt to start the Exodus. Christian Bale never looked older than 50-something to me. I realize that Hollywood loves to exercise what it calls "artistic freedom;" however Scott's version is light years away from the story as I (and many others) know it. Personally, I missed the showdown between Moses and Pharaoh's magicians with the whole "staff turning into a snake thing," and was insulted to have our creator portrayed as a petulant child. Had Scott not wandered so far off the path, I could have considered this a great film. I bought this disaster of a film, watched it once, and will offer it for sale to the first bidder!

A blockbuster movie. Very well made. The price was very reasonable also.

This movie was great. Great special effects. And it was somewhat educational.

We have not watched it yet but people tell us it is very good.

Great movie, beautiful cinematography. Stays true to the story line of Moses' life. Beautiful movie that could reach those that would not normally be interested in Bible themed stories. Highly recommend.
