Ok Game, but nothing special
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a long time fan of this series as well as the Elder Scrolls. This being said, Fallout 4 is a bit of a let down. In terms of graphics, it is not even on par with Skyrim. Very buggy also, there are glitches and quest issues galore. If you wait awhile they should iron out the bugs, but that won't help the average graphics.

Slightly Different than Fallout 3 but still Fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I attended Best Buys's Midnight Release for this game and didn't have to wait too long. Game installs quickly... but did require some updates from Steam. As far as Game Play is concerned, it feels and plays like Fallout 3 and you can acquire the Power Armor by the second quest.. but there are a few quirks with this game. First, the armor now requires "power cells" that drain as you use it and once that happens you have to abandon the armor until you can find or buy a replacement. Another minor issue is you have to go through extra steps to find out the weigh of an item after picking it up. One thing that's a "Hit or Miss" is the CRAFTING part of the game. You pretty much have to do everything in this game. Generators.. lights... power switches... a wire to connect them up.. create beds/chairs/turrents for people.. At first it's very confusing... took me a few hours to get used to it... I don't like it that much.... but after paying $60+ for this game I'm FORCING MYSELF to love doing that.. hahahaha

So much to explore
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have invested hundreds of hours into this game in the last few months. There is so much to see and to do in this game. Also, the modding community is always adding even more things to tweak and do, it never gets old.

Fun game, but Bethesda's formula has grown stale.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fallout 4 is a step back from Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and really shows that Bethesda has failed to innovate much in terms of their game engine, graphics, or gameplay. What they do is pretty cool, but it is becoming stale. And in the wake of The Witcher 3, the bad story and lack of any meaningful choices is made that much more glaring. That said, I had fun, but this could have been so much more, and I genuinely hope that Bethesda will learn from their mistakes - instead of just swimming in their cash - and deliver the next Elder Scrolls game with upgrades and improvements across the board.

Fallout 4 PC version
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I debated getting this vs the PS4 version but the modding community is already adding content to the PC version so this is probably the best one to get

Fun....Will Enjoy This One For A Long TIme
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased Fallout 4 to try out a new computer that I had purchased. I purchased Fallout 4 because it was on sale and one of the Best Buy team members said it was a great game. Well IT IS! Have only played a couple of hours, but I can see where this will be a very good game.

Better off with digital
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The disk based version still requires around 20gb of downloads. Game is fine, you are just much better off finding a good deal in Steam Sales. Buyer beware.

Great game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great. Lots of stuff to do besides the main quest to keep you busy. Very in depth video and imagery. One of the best games I have played. I still play it now. Also, don't for get the DLC for it. Far Harbo is a separate map all together. HUGE!!!

Bethesda fails PC Users
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the PC game disc since I am on metered internet. I get the game in this afternoon only to find out that the disc only contains about 5GB of the 24GB game. It would cost me an additional $150 to increase my data plan enough to download the rest of the game and play it. This is a huge fail on Bethesda's part. I wish companies would realize that not everyone has huge data allowances. Console versions of the game were shipped on Blu-Ray discs but they decided to ship not even a quarter of the game on a DVD for PC users.

Good, not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fallout has definitely made huge progress over FO3, but it fails to provide the same level of complexity. Very few decisions lead to any real difference in outcome.

Save yourself the trouble
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*This is not a review of the actual game but the physical disc. Do not buy the PC physical disc copy you have to download 20GB of the game anyways from Steam. Just buy the game on Steam. The case is also very cheap. Bethesda is so far not impressing me. Also, this is not a fault of Best Buy's. I would review the actual game but I'm still waiting on the 2 hours download. Horrible on Bethesda's part.
