Great story and settlement creator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fallout 4 did very good with the characters emotions. This helped make the story feel like it actually happened. Fallout 3s story felt a little dry. My favorite part of the game has to be the settlements. It's like the Sims but fallout edition. Also, there are plenty of mods and more to come. Can't wait for Skyrim mod imports!

Franchise Fan Expected More
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fallout franchise has an enormous fan base ..... and rightly so. Fallout 3 was THE best game I've ever played on PC. I had a lot of hopes that Fallout 4 would rise to meet and maybe even surpass the winner of countless awards in 2008 and 2009. Unfortunately, if did not come close to the Bethesda icon. Fallout 4 was tailor made for the console gaming crowd, not the PC following. Graphically I found the 4 world to be amazing. If you have a machine that's built for performance you will not be disappointed with the richness of the Fallout 4 environment. Unfortunately, I feel, that the game play was simplified for the average console player. The depth of characters and the feeling like you could really affect the post apocalyptic world you were traveling in .... is gone. Plus, I feel like the vastness of Fallout 3 has been replaced by a cramped map in 4. It's probably tough to design a game for both console players and PC enthusiasts. I'm going to say "I would recommend this to a friend" but only one that owns an Xbox or PS4. PC brothers and sisters head back to New Vegas or an overpass in Fallout 3 ... this one's not for you. Move along Wastelander.

Yay!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just as great as I had hoped. I'm about 40 hours into the game and each time I play, I have to set an alarm for work because I lose track of time. If you have played any other fallout, the mechanics are a little different but not hard to adjust to. Graphics are on point. Love this game and would recommend to anyone :)

Must have for RPG fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have played a Fallout game before then this game will make you a bigger fan. If you have never played a Fallout game before, this is the perfect time to start. There is no other experience like Fallout 4. It has every classic RPG feature that you look for and then it adds more. 100 + hours of gamely easily.

Worthy Successor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for this game since I was in high school. I purchased the PC version of the game, and boy does it take a beast of a machine to run this with everything maxed out (though if you want "console-grade" graphics, you only need to set things to medium). I am somewhat disappointed with the direction they took with the dialogue wheel, but the heaps of content available in this game somewhat make up for that. Pros: -LOTS of things to do. I have already pumped in 50 hrs without getting too far into the story line, which says a lot already -Voice acting for all NPCs - not something you really see even nowadays in games Cons: -Bugs - nothing game shattering (yet), but nothing bad enough that I feel a patch couldn't fix -Not "beginner friendly" in the sense that there are functions in the game that are not made obvious to the user (though that's where the in-game manual comes in I suppose) Difficult to say that this game is anything but a 5/5, especially considering the fact that I got this for $48 with GCU, along with a $10 pre-order bonus!

It's Fallout 4: Your Next Great Crack Addiction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's not much I can say that hasn't been said already: it's the next version of Fallout, it isn't quite the next-generation version of Fallout, but it is the best one yet. If you liked the other ones, you'll like this one. If you didn't like the other ones, what is wrong with you? You should buy it.

Ok fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never played any of the fallout games before that. Not much into all the crafting you have to do. well you don't HAVE to do. The graphics though are excellent!! lots of detail. I like the story line, but just not my type of game. if you've played the previous versions then you should like this one

Seems to be really good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son in law. When I first gave it to him he didn't sleep for 24 hours playing the game. During the first week he forgot to eat meals and missed a lot of sleep. He's returned to a relatively normal schedule now, but still plays it on into the night quite often. Good investment.

More streamlined gameplay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the game is much more streamlined than previous titles. The gunplay feels crisp, and the interface is a bit quicker to navigate. The RPG is a bit less, as they focused more on the gameplay this time around. But with some mods that are currently available, as well as up and coming, you can restore the RPG to just about where it was in the previous titles.

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't dedicated much hours to this game yet (about 7), but so far, I like what I see. It is very alike Fallout 3, but with added features and a bit more difficult to wander in the wasteland at the beginning of the game. If you like Fallout 3 and New Vegas, you will also like this one.

Fallout 4 is to Fallout 3 as Skyrim is to Oblivion
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So for starters I loved both Oblivion and Skyrim, didn't really get into Fallout 3 all that much though. However I really enjoyed Fallout 4. I have about 90 hours in (at the time of this post) and have really enjoyed it. If you like open world games this is one of the best you will play.

Fallout 4 Gets Even Better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite some typical bugs in the series, Fallout4 delivers the series to a new level. I especially loved it because I am from the Boston area and even though it was not exactly the same as the Boston area, it felt nice knowing generally where I was. A serious Game of the Year contender.

Fallout 4 will be game of the year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know where to start. This is the first Fallout game I have played. Let me tell you that it is amazing. The attention to detail in this game is rivaled by none. There is so much to explore and do it will keep you occupied for weeks if not months. Awesome game highly recommended.

An excellent addition to the franchise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing since Fallout 1, and I can safely say that this is the most beautiful Fallout yet. I'll always be partial to # 2, but the story, the graphics, and the gameplay have kept me away from other games to play Fallout 4. Even my wife plays, and that's saying something!

Amazing Open World Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first venture into the Fallout universe, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The depth of this game is incredible and you will be hard pressed to truly run out of things to do. If you enjoy any type of open world experience, do yourself a favor and pick this game up.

Should be Game of the Year!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hear nothing but good things about this game. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother and he absolutely loves it! It does take a lot of time to complete tasks within the game which is its only downfall, but otherwise the graphics and everything else are on point!

Great RPG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing world to discover with engaging side stories that keep you searching for more. The combat is smooth and enjoyable and the hunt for legendary upgrades is a nice addition. The crafting/base building aspect is enjoyable except for the management of the junk materials.

Decent but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly not sure where Bethesda was trying to go with this latest Fallout game. Half RPG and half FPS, it was kind of mediocre overall. It did not live up to the hype at all. I would have loved for it to be more story-intensive. That being said, I did enjoy the game and can definitely see myself playing again in the future.

Fallout 4 is great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in love with this game. There is so much to do and it's a lot like the other Fallouts which says a lot. This game is definitely worth the money and the only sad part about it is that I don't have enough free hours to experience everything in the game.
