It's not Harry Potter but it is a great addition to the series. I am looking forward to the sequel.

Not very many known actors, but a very interesting story - similar but. Or the same as Harry Potter series.

If you're a muggle you prob don't even know what that means, and if that's the case don't watch this movie.

My 8 year old and I enjoyed this movie very much. The special effects were wonderful. And of course we would love MORE Harry Potter Adventures. So this movie did not disappoint.

My wife and I both enjoyed this movie and the monsters were my wife's favorites. British accents made it a little hard to understand but I would recommend it to everyone.

Offers an exploration of a small part of the original Harry Potter films; i.e. the magical beasts that inhabit the wizarding world. The American setting flips the script somewhat on the traditional British/European colloquialisms and mannerisms we've all come to know. The film sadly drags it's feet through the plot at some points and offers little explanation for certain important developments through out. Despite this, the film still feels nostalgic and very much so like one of the original Harry Potter films.

In line with the Harry Potter World, this movie stands and delivers all on it's own. Excellent movie.

A nice way to expand the world of Harry Potter... Doesn't have the "magic" of the Harry Potter movies but very excited to see the world and characters expand.

This movie is a prequel to the Harry Potter series. Listen for subtle ties to the characters in the books.

Even if you never watched the Harry Potter movies, you will still love this. Can't wait for the next one

I loved the Harry Potter series. This movie had a slightly different feel but still quite enjoyable.

Holds up to and in some ways is better than the HP franchise. The movie is executed almost flawlessly.
