A fun diversion for Harry Potter fans. We enjoyed it enough at the theater that we decided to purchase the DVD and watch again. A good choice for family movie night.

Don't expect this movie to be like the Harry Potter movies because it is not one. It feels like a spin off for a new franchise with completely different characters.

This movie reminded me of a twist of Harry Potter mixed with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with a sprinkle of Miss Peregrine's House of Peculiar Children.

A great movie for the entire family. Great spend to the Harry Potter Lines. I truly liked the story line. Not disappointing for those who like fantiscies flicks.

I bought this blindly without seeing it in theaters because I'm a HP fan. I wasn't a fan of the movie(or price). The steelbook is really nice looking though.

A take off of the Harry Potter phenomenon, this movie introduces wizarding in America as well as lovable new creatures and a dangerous one as well.

Then you will like this movie also. Honestly, it is similar in a ton of ways, but this one is not original enough (too similar) and not nearly as good.

If you are a huge Harry Potter fan, you will obviously check this out. If not, not sure the appeal is there. The movie is ok but not great.

Is this movie amazing, no. Does it have great visuals..absolutely. Its not bad or great its a good movie. Solid enough to get for a few bucks

the cover of the front is pretty cool. However I would've chosen a different scene. the art work is great, but the scenes chosen shouldve been better

This doesn't seem to have the same sense of wonder as the prior movies. The direction and pacing was off too. Hopefully the future movies get better.

I wish I had looked first because it was cheaper at other places. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the film, but it was a gift for a family member.

I do enjoy this movie but the back part of the steelbook is very ugly. It's like no thought was put into the steelbook. You got me again Best Buy.

I don't know much about the Harry Potter books but it was in line with the Ministry of Magic and a bit of their backstory which was a nice change.

A True Harry Potter Buff will love it just because of what it is. The movie itself had too many characters that never really developed substance.

I felt this movie was OK. Little nods to the original HP series. Mainly bought it for my daughter who absolutely loved it. Good family flick!

This was a decent movie that takes place some years before the Harry Potter movies. The actors did a great job, and the film had a good plot.
