It was an interesting movie if you are in the harry potter fanatic club. However, it was rather slow and hard to stay awake during it.

While "Fantastic Beasts" is certainly entertaining, it comes nowhere close to capturing the magic of the original Harry Potter movies.

I love Harry Potter but I thought this movie lacked some depth to it that the other HP movies had. visually good though.

I enjoyed the film, just wished there were more fantastic creatures and more about them. The storyline was a bit weak, it really was.

It's not a complete failure but its not as magical as the rest. Even the 2nd part of The Fantastic Beasts is better.

It works. It tells a story. It has fun. It's not as good as the original Harry Potter films. It just isn't exceptional.

I didn't get attached to the characters like I did with Harry Potter but it was worth watching. Glad I didn't go to the theater.

this movie is good, but definitely not as good as Harry Potter. I bought the 3D version and there wasn't anything 3D about it.

my wife loves the harry potter movies, and enjoyed this one too. lots of cgi so not the best for 4k, but still looks very good.

Not sure if this is just poor attempt to start another franchise in order to make millions more. Story was weak and distracted.

Expected a lot more out of the one that was supposed to be the start of the series. It was good but not what I was hoping for.

This movie was ok. It dragged on a bit. Not enough time on newt and his creatures. More round and round. Glad it was on sale.

A different take on the Harry Potter series. Interesting story, but I thought it would be more about Newt Scamander's travels

This movie keeps you entertained. It's not as good as the Harry's but for that generation they are trying to keep you going.

As a Harry Potter fan, I don't see the need for this story other than a cash grab for a future unnecassary film franchise.

Good family film. Not as good as the Harry Potter series, but still worth a look.
