The greatest weren't the only thing fantastic in this movie! Eddy Redmayne does a phenomenal job bringing his character to life. Newt is everything you'd hope/expect from Hagrids favorite author. I hope this series continues for quite some time!

I missed this in the theaters but since I saw all the Harry Potter movies I was interested in this. It was entertaining and seemed to be setting up future movies. I wasn't blown away, but definitely watch this in 4k if you can. It looks and sounds great!

It's a rare instance to find a film that leaves cynicism at the door and embraces you wholeheartedly into its world. While other prequels and sequels rely on familiar faces and fan service to trap audiences into thinking they enjoy a film (Suicide Squad, Rogue One), "Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them" is a movie first and foremost about its characters, so far removed from the original "Harry Potter" pictures that the most overt reference is a passing nod to Hogwarts. The characters are beautifully portrayed by all. I was brushing away tears multiple times during the viewing, and was astonished to find that in a movie full of magic and fantasy, the most fantastic thing of all was the people onscreen. The steelbook is beautiful as well - far better and more elegant than the rather cluttered Blu-ray release.

I saw the movie twice on the big screen with the family and everyone loved this movie. Of course, everyone is a Harry Potter fan and this was expected. The movie has a wonderful story with an amazing cast. Its special effects are simply out of this world. Its funny character are just hilarious. It is so entertaining that we have watched the Blu Ray a few times. The disc is excellent in terms of both video and audio and it comes with DVD and Digital HD copy. Highy highly recommended. Get a copy and enjoy this fun movie.

I didn't have any expectations going into this movie. I read and own all of the Harry Potter books and I have watched and own the Harry Potter Blu-Ray box set. My wife and I thought this movie was amazing! It was fast paced, had a great story line, and the acting was amazing! I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoyed the Harry Potter books or movies!

Thought this was a great addition to the beginning of the Harry Potter story. It was set I believe it was set somewhere in the early 1900's. It's filled with cute animals big and small and lots of magic and style that we've come to love from the first Harry Potter movies. I definitely recommend this adventure if you were a big fan of HP.

I loved this movie from beginning to end. The characters were all memorable and the special effects were stunning. I have watched this movie several times and look forward to opportunities to watch it again. I would have no problem watching it with children as there is nothing in it that I would find offensive.

So excited to have another epic JK story to follow!! As a Potterhead, this is thrilling to have, as we've always known the story before the film was released. This is a roller coaster with twists and turns and surprises at every corner. I can't wait for the next part in this series to come out!!

This is a review of the 3-D Blu-ray version. The movie is terrific and definitely in the tradition of the Harry Potter movies. If you loved them, you'll love this. The 3D version is an eye-opener and really adds to the story's excitement. Highly recommended!
