Picture quality is good and the sound is great! I like the many different kinds of features that focus and each character and creature as well as the bts making of the film. If you're a Harry Potter fan then this would be a great addition to your wizarding collection!

Loved this movie, loved the characters and the story. The affects were great and the story was great as well. A fun movie to watch and if you love the Harry Potter universe this movie gives you more of it with more to come I think! I can watch it over and over and over!

I really liked how the references to Harry Potter fell into this movie so now it can continue on. I think that there should be many more movies after this one mainly due to my personal love of the animals (ohhh & I suppose the magic too LOL) in this movie!!!

JK Rowling did it again, inspiring us to believe in magic, magical creatures, and a fun story the whole way through. I don't want to spoil any of the fun of the movie! All I will say is if you enjoyed the Harry Potter series, this movie will keep the fun alive for you!

we did not see this in the theaters, so purchased it to watch and add to the Harry Potter collection. We all enjoyed it - great effects, good story, good acting. Looking forward to the next one. May not be suitable for young children due to violence and scary visuals.

I had heard good things about this movie and that is was a prequel to the Harry Potter movies so I was a little unsure. However, didn't really feel like I was watching another Harry Potter movie. Overall, movie is nicely done and has a few twist and turns along the way.

I know this is from the same Author, but the world felt different from the Potter films, and I enjoyed that. Seeing magic as a secret, and the change in time period was refreshing. The main character reminded me so much of Tom Baker's Doctor.

I was waiting for this movie to come out ever since I heard a rumor they were making it, now that I can watch it in full HD I can fully enjoy the amazing job they did with this movie. It's wonderful for all ages and is what I hope a fantastic start to a new franchise.

I got this movie to test out the capabilities of my 4K TV. Good news is that it also came with the blu ray so I could do a side by side comparison. The difference between the 2 is like night and day. If you have the ability to watch in 4K, I recommend to do it.

I appreciate seeing a movie that addresses the human race's general obliviousness to animal behaviour. And while I was originally worried about it being a cash grab by WB to milk the HP series more, I genuinely enjoyed it and find my self watching it again and again.

If you enjoyed any of the Harry Potter series of films, then you will enjoy this one as well. The 3d effect is mostly depth with minimal pop out effects, however this suits the film nicely and adds a nice dimensionality to it. Audio is superb. With a nice home theater setup this bluray experience is top notch. Video is crisp and clean with only a minimal darkness due to 3d glasses.

Special effects and story line are astounding. The story line is not just for kids. My husband wanted this for Father's Day and it did not disappoint. A wonderful addition to the Harry Potter collections out there. If you are a Harry Potter fan then this is a must!

Right from the opening WB logo and the HP tune plays, I knew I was going to be happy with this film. It perfectly captures the spirit and magic of the HP films, but also gives us a new world, characters and story to enjoy and look forward to with the sequels.

This is one of the best 4K movies I have purchased thus far. The colors and sequences pop extremely well. I highly recommend. There is a lot of debate if everyone is better off buying regular Blu ray with an upscale player. But with the HDR there is a huge difference.

This was one of the best movies of 2016. Finally another movie in the Harry Potter wizarding world. This is meant for more mature audiences, but still great imagination and story telling. This is an excellent looking bluray and great audio. Recommended to watch in 3D.

If you like the Harry Potter movies then you will probably enjoy this movie. Fantastic Beasts takes place in the U.S.A. and you are introduced to the magical world in this country. The Blu-ray provides great video but occasionally I had trouble hearing what was being said. Most of that was probably due to accents. If you enjoy sorcery and strange creatures this movie is for you.

A great, visually stunning movie and a wonderful addition to any Harry Potter movie collection. You can't go wrong with the 4K version of the film! All the special effects compliment this beautifully written story and is a must own for Harry Potter fans!!!

There's a lot to recommend. This should satisfy both Harry Potter fans and fantasy enthusiasts as well. Director David Yates is back. He brings his quirky aesthetic to this new film and the touch is welcome. He directed the last four installments of the Harry Potter series and he will direct all 5 of these films as well. On the other hand, Steve Kloves, who adapted every Potter movies except Order of the Phoenix, is only a producer here. This time the script is penned by none other than author Dame J. K. Rowling herself. This is her first screenplay. She pretty much had free reign to adapt her work any way she saw fit. We get a wandering two-hour plus movie from a meager story thread. Fantastic Beasts is a suitably accomplished escapist adventure. However the attempts to mix upbeat fantasy with something more sinister, fall flat. At best, the tale is a fanciful stroll through a dreamlike world. This is a continuation of the Harry Potter series and delves into the "book" we were all curious about during the Potter films and it is a wonderful film best viewed in 3D. We own a 3D TV and it is awesome to watch all of the 3D films on it in our own living room.

This is an original twist on the Harry Potter class of movies. Watching the 3D movie brought "realism" to the creatures. Perhaps too much realism for young children, but as an adult I really enjoyed it. If you have a 3D TV. I would highly recommend the 3D version.
