I was able to pick up so many more easter eggs watching at home! The ability to pause and slo-mo the movie during some scenes made it even more fun to watch. I'm not sure how they're going to turn this into a 5 part franchise though. But I look forward to seeing who they cast as a younger Dumbledore.

my wife and I saw this movie in theatres together, I thought it was one of those movies that set up other movies but she loved it. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating was because I have issues with movies that have to be made to set up later movies so that the other movies make sense.

This was everything I had hoped it would be and then some! It filled the void left by the discontinuation of the original Harry Potter series. Overall well developed thematically and had all the usual magic!

Pro: Love this movie. Animation is awesome, storyline engaging, characters interesting. Cons: Had to return the 4-D version. It would not play on my Blu-Ray player. Be sure you purchase the correct version.

I actually enjoyed this film very much. The CGI looked pretty real. I felt like I had to watch more! And HP fans know the feeling when JK Rowling makes you want more. So definitely watch it if you haven't.

Great movie with awesome CGI. If you are a fan of Harry Potter movie series , you will love this movie. It starts from before Harry Potter time at hog warts and tells the story so nicely

This is a wonderful movie with amazing special effects and a great story! You don't have to be a Harry Potter fan to love this movie but if you are it is a great chapter in the story of the Wizarding World!!

If you're a fan of the Potter movies, you'll like this too. I've never read the books, but I did like the movies. The storyline is very good. The 3D effects are great. Good addition to any movie collection.

This was a fun and amusing movie. Well acted with interesting characters. Some of the effects were a bit off but I think that was my playback setup.

The Harry Potter movies were fun and just OK. Fantastic Beasts blows the HP series away. I hear there will be more Fantastic Beasts movies and can't wait.

This is a wonderful story and well worthy of the Potter pre-tales. Great acting and and great story. Didn't know what to expect having not read the novel, I was not disappointed. Can't wait for the sequels.

I love the HP series, so, of course, I really love this movie as well. The steelbooks are great because they're collectible, and durable. I highly recommend investing in steelbooks offered only by Best Buy.

This movie was awesome, it’s hard to beat the Harry Potter movies but this movie was awesome. I have watched it so many times. I love it. I would recommend to anyone who loves magic or Harry Potter.

This is a fun movie set in the Harry Potter world (but 80 years or so earlier), perhaps not quite as good as the potter films, but still a fun time in the world of muggles and magic. The Blu Ray is excellent, and the 3D version has great depth effects in a number of scenes. Sound is excellent as well.

This is a fun movie to watch with the older kids. It moves past the same locations shown in the Harry Potter series into the USA and brings to life a large vision of the Magical Realm. A fun watch, indeed!

The quality of the blu ray is really remarkable and the special effects pop on this DVD. The movie is really quite good and a great couple of hours into the fantasy world of Harry Potter. Highly recommend.

A must have for your collection. From the inspiration collection of the Harry Potter series, this is so awesome. For kids and adult of all ages. Great for movie night and fir guest visiting.

We saw this movie in the theater and enjoyed it. I purchased this movie so we could watch it again and again. It is one of those movies that you can watch again. Also, like the fact it has a digital copy.

I enjoyed this movie since I saw the sequel to this movie I theaters. The main guy is hot...don't let my boyfriend see this reveiw....and I do love the story line and the cg animation.

This book is the excellent prequel to the Harry Potter series. Visually stunning with a great story line. Explains the differences between the European and the American viewpoint on the wizarding world.
