Despite many less then stellar reviews, I enjoyed the final Harry Potter movies. Although it seemed what most people objected to is what I liked about them, the dark and more macabre look at Harry's world. So we were anxious to see this new work and happily, we were not disappointed. Blu-ray presentation looked fantastic too! Whether your new to this world or you've been here since the beginning, this is an enjoyable film. Looking forward to more!!

A bit of a tear jerker, that was interesting from start to finish. A bit magical but not to give away the total plot, was interesting how the mind works. Sound and picture and especially the "Monster" animation was great. Only wish it could've been in 3D. I figured out the back story mystery, but the additional twist at the end was a surprise. As for "Easter Eggs", look closely at the family pictures and you'll see his grandfather. That might help.

Good transfer, some decent extras, but none of that matters if the movie is no goood. Well, it's a good thing that this movie is very good. Not quite great, but certainly very good. It opens up a lot of history that Harry Potter fans have been wondering about so it was really interesting to see the differences between the American side of the wizarding world vs the British side. Anyway, a lot of fun and I look forward to the forthcoming sequels.

So many franchises and "cinematic universes" do nothing more than regurgitate the content that once made their movies worth watching - but after eight awesome Harry Potter movies, JK Rowling has shown us how a cinematic universe SHOULD BE by making her ninth film NOTHING LIKE THE OTHERS. She truly expands her universe with a film that has a completely different tone and feel from the HP movies. The awesome 4K UHD SteelBook is just bonus!

Finally a steelbook that isint to simple. It's been a while since a release of a well crafted detailed steelbook. The exterior art work is great. Over films cast and plot is a fun ride for the whole family. Definitely a must own to the collection. This steelbook version is a collectors item so with that being said it won't be available for to long. That is until it's available at EBay for three times what you should be paying for. So get it now!

Great Fantasy Film. This movie will leave an impression on the young and old alike. Most will enjoy it and see the possibilities while there will be a few who will not. I had a great time watching this - there is a lot to see - even in the background. And watch for the cameo appearance of a well known actor which may give a clue to what might come next in the wizarding worlds. Is there a connection between the two - UK and USA?

Don't get me wrong. I have loved Harry Potter since the beginning, and I am a big fan of the movies. But this film is amazing. The wealth of detail and development is astounding. It adds so much to the already wonderful Harry Potter universe. The story is awesome, and the characters are just as instantly loveable as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I highly recommend this film. It comes with some interesting special features as well.

I am not a fan of the Harry Potter franchise and I really ended up enjoying this film a lot. Was very pleasantly surprised by the story and the action. Had a little bit of everything for every member of the family. Cool action, cool graphics, fun characters, funny jokes, and an intriguing plot made this film an overall fun time. I would recommend checking this one out even if you have never seen any of the Harry Potter films.

After the Harry Potter films I wasn't quite sure about this film and the new characters and setting. I was so pleased to find this film and characters so appealing. The story, although a little more grown up, was fantastic. The creatures and characters were great. The video and audio were excellent. The special features were a little thin, but overall it was a great film. I would recommend adding this film to your collection.

When I watched the movie I could tell I was within the world made famous through the Harry Potter series. Even within the movie there were hints of the not to distant future and references to a few key characters in the series and/or their family names. What was missing was that heart-felt connection one had to the primary three. The oddities presented by new characters could not create the bond viewers of the previous series had and cherished. It is worth seeing as part of the overall franchise, but don't expect the same connection you once had to the characters when leaving the theatre.

I was mesmerized with this movie. It was fast but not so fast to loose any content. The biggest thing I found myself wondering was about the Harry Potter movies. I have seen the first one but wasn't interested in continuing. Now, however, after seeing this movie with its splendid cast, I am thinking of going back to those older films. But there is another part to my take-away from this film. I want to read the books!!

This is another disc that one could consider a reference disc. It would serve well to show off the absolute limits of a high quality home theater. I only wish that this film had been shot on actual film versus digital. I also do not like the choices made in post, specifically all of the filters that give it such an unnatural look. That's not the fault of the disc, which is why is doesn't effect the star rating.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an excellent addition to the cinematic Potter-verse. It follows an adventure that Newt Scamander, noted magical creature researcher, had in 1920's America. The special effects are splendid, the magical creature designs are varied and intriguing, and the most of the characters are very likable. This movie is certainly worth the watch if you're a fan of the Harry Potter series.

JK Roland puts together a great story and this one is no exception, the 3D is great so glad we got the 4K T.V. with the 3D, it makes all movies so much better. If you liked Harry Potter you will not want to miss this one, none of the characters from the H Potter movies but you will notice that the music is very similar wish they would have gone farther with the storyline, but who knows maybe another is in the works

There's not many movies that I will purchase outright. I usually stick with Disney movies or movies like these that are part of a legacy collection. The most important aspect of buying movies is being able to have that digital copy that will port to Vudu. Since all my Harry Potters are in Vudu and accessible anywhere I had to get this and I'm sure glad I did. Take a jump back into the wizarding world!!!!

So, I will begin by saying that I am not (nor have I ever been) a fan of Harry Potter. My family is obsessed with it, and I never understood the attraction. BUT, this film has won me over. This has not made me want to watch Harry Potter, but it has made me want more of Newt Scamander and his many animal friends. This was such a fun film. It had all the right amounts of laughter and darkness. It was fabulous.

Absolutely love this title. The score for this movie is amazing and really makes it stand apart from the rest of the Harry Potter franchise. The 3D of the creatures looks really great as well. Recommend for anyone expanding their 3D collection while tittles in this version like this are disappearing.

So much fun to be there in this movie while watching. More fun than Harry Potter, sorry potter fans, but this was one great movie. The Magic and the creatures were fantastic, great imagination, hope there are more to come the players were believable and hope they return. This was a great addition to my movie collection,had to have it after seeing the movie in the theater. A must have for any Potter fan.

The material was new, yet had a familiar feel to it as influenced by HARRY POTTER. I enjoyed it VERY much (I read the screenplay first, then read the MAKING OF book afterwards). My only complaint would be: How hard could it be to have a PLAY ALL option for all of the extras??? I mean when you have 7-9 subsections in each section, it would really be nice to just hit PLAY ALL, so I could sit back and relax.
