My children (aged 14 and 11) and I love this movie! We have watched it over and over again. The quality of the blu-ray disc is great. I am happy to have added this movie to our Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts collection, and we can't wait for the next movie to come out.

I loved the movie. This was the first time for me buying a movie in 4K. The steelbook packaging was kind of nice, though I would have liked if the discs weren't on top of each other. In terms of the picture quality, it was great, but I didn't notice a significant difference from that of the Blu-Ray. I'm not sure if paying extra for 4K was worth it

I'm a fairly decent Harry Potter fan, and was very anxious to see this movie in theater. There was so much hype I was afraid I would be disappointed, but there was no disappointment here. In fact, I would go as far as to say I was incredibly impressed! Can't wait to see the next one! Definitely a must have for any Potter fan!

The 4K Blu-ray experience is better than I expected. For the extra five dollars, the picture is absolutely brilliant. I have a Samsung 4K TV with HDR, but not a high-end model in this movie looked unbelievable. I use Xbox one S as my Blu-ray player . All the colors all the contrast it blew my mind. Highly recommend 4K versions of all action movies.

What is not to like about this Blu-ray DVD? If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you need this one to keep your collection series going. I loved it in the theater and I'm loving it now at home. I think I already watched it 3x since my purchase (right before Easter). My family got to enjoy it since they didn't get the chance to see it at the theater.

Loved this follow-on (prequel actually) to J. K. Rowling's fantastic Harry Potter series of books and movies. The Ultra HD (4k + HDR) quality on appropriate hardware is stunning. I'd not seen quality this good on anything but "home video" taken on my 4K Sony camcorder until now. This was our first Ultra HD disc purchase - but it won't be our last!

When I heard that there was a new prequel to the Harry Potter film series I was so excited to see it! Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them did not disappoint me one bit! It's a fun Magical thrill ride from the start! Amazing art direction too (considering it takes place in 1920's NYC and was entirely filming in the UK)! Fans of the HP series will love it but even if you never saw those films or read the book seires you will enjoy it! Fun for the whole family!

If you liked Harry Potter then I think you'll enjoy this movie. It starts with years before Harry Potter every existed, but it does make references to some things. We some magical creatures and it's pretty funny. The graphics were amazing and the story was really interesting as well. I recommend this to any Potter fan who wants to be entertained.

Muggles should not be aware of wizards and magical creatures. That basic idea of Wizardry is time and again pushed to the limits as Newt Scamander arrives in New York to research and help magical creatures and by accident some of his magical creatures escape his magic suitcase. This places Newt and his creatures at risk as the Wizard Police are looking for them as an evil power is somewhere in New York and with control of the creatures its power could become greater and more dangerous.

Firstly, as a fan of the Harry Potter films, I found this as a great spinoff. Regarding disc quality, the HDR content, colors, etc. look great, even the dark scenes with great detail in the shadows. I haven't compared it to the regular Blu-Ray that is included, but it is easily on par with the best of the other UHD Blu-Rays that I have (about 15).

I went into this movie not expecting too much since I read reviewers being lukewarm on it. I was pleaseantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it and the 4k Transfer & Sound on my SONOS system was stellar. If you're a Harry Potter fan, this is a no brainer. Or if you just like a good scifi flick I think Fantastic Beasts will satisfy you as well.

I really enjoyed Fantastic Beasts. The new main protagonist is interesting (though the supporting characters [particularly the women] need more characterization) and is well acted by Redmayne. The special effects and creatures are well designed and actualized. While good, the story itself can get a little confusing (and a bit on the scarier side for a "Potter" film. All-in-all, this movie is fun and is a visual treat. You will wish that some of these fantastic beasts really existed.

FBAWTFT is a new chapter in the Harry Potter universe, taking place 100 years before the events of the Harry Potter Saga begins. While this movie is not the strongest it is narrative, nor the main leads all that interesting, it is a fun movie with some strong supporting characters. For a world building movie it is fine and worth watching at least once, you can make up your mind from there.

I saw this in the theater and liked it so much I wanted to own it. The movie is set in America and it provides a new take on the magic of the Harry Potter world. The characters are well written and well realized. Most impressively, the special effects never overtake the story or the characters. I recommend this film to any fan of the series.

I have been a fan of all the Harry Potter movies so it seemed obvious for me to purchase this movie... it was an excellent watch. Anyone who is a fan of the Harry Potter movies the fantastic beast movies will suprise you how they have intertwined the 2 series together... def recommend 100%

This is a Great movie to own. The extras on the Blu-ray are well worth the cost. A rich history is created for each character beyond what is seen in the movie. Learning what the author was thinking about them just adds to the enjoyment of the movie. So much rich detail in the smallest parts of each scene make it worth viewing over and over.

Was a little cautious as was a fan of the Harry Potter books & movies and wasn't sure if this was just going to be a shameless money grab to extend the series without the core characters. I was pleasantly surprised. They managed to build a new core group for you to care about while still staying connected to world that fans know and love.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, you'll love this movie. I enjoyed watching it on screen and I love rewatching it on blu-ray. The characters and settings are of course different from the Harry Potter series. The wizarding world of JK Rowling is diverse and amazing to see on screen. The actors were perfect for their roles. So enjoy muggles!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them is a excellent addition to the Harry Potter series. With memorable characters and lots of action that will keep your eyes glued, this is a must see for any Harry Potter fan. Add it to your Harry Potter collection. Also, keep your ears opened to hear a famous wizard name mentioned during the movie.

I really enjoyed Fantastic Beasts, it's a great addition to the Harry Potter universe. It adds new story, with new characters and locations in a world Harry Potter fans know and enjoy. The only downside to the movie was the large amounts of CGI, it seemed more than the previous Harry Potter movies, and some of it didn't look top quality.
