We missed getting to the movies to see this film and usually watch them in 3D. We watched the none 3d version because our glasses for our 3D TV wouldn't work. Later we found out the batteries were dead. Got new batteries and watched it again in 3D. It was like watching a new movie as the 3D effects made a great difference in picture viewing.

If you like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you will love the touch of history that this movie gives. It is also entertaining as a stand alone movie, but there are hidden gems for a Potter fan, I can't wait for the next installment.

Fantastic beasts is a fun movie. It is not another Harry Potter movie, but goes off in a different direction with some beasts that must be captured. We meet many different characters in a muggle town, and it is an interesting adventure

The quality of this movie was great. I definitely liked what it brought to the table. If you are into a splash of magic and the world of Harry Potter you will for sure enjoy this movie!

There's not much to say. More story and lore in JK Rowlings world. If you like Harry Potter, you will love this prequel. If you're new, it stands on its own, but your enjoyment will only grow if you experience the main series as well.

This movie tells the story of a wizard in the early 20th century, connecting Dumbledore to the series that will follow. Excellent story, very good graphics for the "beasts" (and other special effects). Well done, and very heart-warming.

The movie is fast paced, funny and magical. THe 3D effects are great! It's like going into the world of Harry Potter through your screen. Highly recommend the movie. Wonderful special effects. Brilliant acting. I totally want a Niffler!

This movie was not what we expected having not looked up much about it other than a couple trailers. It did a great job of connecting you to the characters in a 2 hour time frame while still having the feel of the magic of Harry Potter!

This was a breath of fresh air. Eddie Redmayne was wonderful in this prequel to the Harry Potter series. Beautiful mix of humor and drama that gives background to the things Harry studied and gives hope for more to come from JK.

Love this movie. Anyone who is a HP fan, this is an adult version of that rally. The characters know way more magic and use it for so many things. Very well done movie.

Great movie I enjoyed it very much I hope that in the future she writes other books or screenplays based on Harry Potter of course I wish she would write more Harry Potter books based on Harry Potter but this movie will do until then.

I didn't really know what to expect from Fantastic Beasts, but I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. It had all the same characteristics and charm that the Harry Potter films did, and I'm looking forward to the second film.

This is a good movie to have in the ever growing movie collection ... An enjoyable movie to own to see when you need a good movie fix!! Here's to continuing growing movie collections and finding larger movie shelves! Keep on watching!

The rest of the family read all of the Harry Potter books and we all enjoyed the movies. This "pre-quel" was great. Interesting characters. Movie has a story line all it's own, but also neatly ties into the Potter series for its fans.

This is a must watch! If you’re a Harry Potter fan, than you’ll love this too. The quality of 4K does not disappoint either.

I am a fan of the Harry Potter series in general. So after hearing about this movie and having multiple friends tell me how great it was, I had to see for myself. I had to agree it is a great movie that any Harry Potter fan will love.

I had seen it before, but I wanted to watch it in 3D. It is amazing the difference it makes. Love Best Buy. The sales girl looked up the movie, found one in stock and went and collected it for me to buy. She was absolutely wonderful.

As a standalone movie, it still works pretty well, but it was definitely more enjoyable with some understanding of the Harry Potter movies. It sort of has the same sense of wonder and discovery that the first Potter movie had, where you don't quite know what's going to happen, even if you know the answer will ultimately be "magic".

This was really fun and enjoyable movie. It takes place in the world of Harry Potter, but is definitely not another Harry Potter movie. It has a good story and great special effects. I'm looking forward to the sequel in 2018.
