As a fan of the original Harry Potter films I went into this movie with likely larger than should be expected expectations. The movie takes place in the 1920s world of wizardry in New York City. The cast including Dan Fogler have great parts and make the otherwise slow moving story worth watching. The movie in 4K stands out for it's HDR presentation and soundscape. Though it's difficult to recommend this movie unless you are really into the series and have reasonable expectations.

I watched this movie for the second time and truly enjoyed the various 'beasts' incorporated throughout. Very different from the Harry Potter movies, which adds to its charm.
