This is a very good movie as long as you don't go into it thinking it is going to be "Harry Potter". It is a totally different movie.

Great movie! Bought this as a holiday gift! We loved Harry Potter and are really enjoying the start of this new series as well.

My daughter say's that this movie is really good, I have not watched it yet though. But when she say's a movie is good it usually is.

It's an interesting movie, with good visual effects. If you go into it expecting something like Harry Potter, I think you will be disappointed; but it has the same theme as Harry Potter, but occurs in America.

I would give 5-star ratings to all the original Harry Potter movies. Fantastic Beasts was fun enough, but slow-paced for the first half of the movie. Newt and Jacob were my favorite characters. The others, I simply didn't care about as much, though my wife did like the lead female. The story didn't feel as original as I was hoping for. The visuals were pretty great in this, and we liked it enough to purchase for our collection, but I would watch any of the Harry Potter films for fun before choosing to watch this one. I hope the future Fantastic Beasts films are more engaging.

J.K. Rowling is at it again--captivating us! These prequels to the Harry Potter series are fun and amazing in their own right.

You have to buy this for your Harry Potter collection. Fun movie. Everytime I watch it I see more stuff that I missed the first time.

Excellent 3D effects from beginning to end. The story line was intriguing and the characters were fun. Can't wait to watch it again!

This wasn't as magical as the original go around with Harry and the gang, but seeing the magic being brought to life again still got my heart fluttering. Eddie Redmayne and Katherine Waterston are fantastic!

This is a great movie for all harry potter fans. Great visuals and great story. And as always the best movie prices are at best buy!
