What made Harry Potter so engaging is lost on this story where every other moment is about the pain. Rowling is dipping into her darker visions with this work.

All in all a better film than Fantastic Beasts 1 and Johnny Depp crafts a villain far more tempting and interesting than Voldemort. Blasphemy? It's the truth.

I was disappointed in this second installment of this series. After a strong first outing, this long film felt like a huge setup for the coming installments.

I enjoyed seeing the first "Fantastic Beasts" movie in 3D. I watched the second movie - "The Crimes of Grindelwald" also in 3D and it continues where the first one ends. I didn't like it as much as the original but the special effects seemed to equal or even surpass those of the first movie. Eddie Redmayne is terrific as Newt Scamander but the plot is not. It is confusing and boring. But as this is the 2nd in the series written by JK Rowling, who knows what the future holds!

It really didn’t grab my attention like the first one. My 8 year old wanted to see it in the theater but convinced him to wait for dvd to buy. He enjoyed it.

The first movie came out was a good story line great C G , and sound. But the second installment just fell flat. The beginning of this should have been ending of the first,and then continued. A good script is sometimes hard to find. Let's just hope the screen writers don't drop the ball on the next installment. Tec. This movie was suburb. In order to understand the next chapter you must buy it. Then I would use it as a reference. I guess we will have to wait and hope.

This one was hard to watch. Very sad. It is worth giving the movie a shot if you love the wizard of world but casual fans should skip this one.

There's a lot going on in this movie, which is hard to follow. I won't judge it too harshly until I see where the series is going in the next few movies.

Simply great visually. A feast for the eyes. The story is a bit confusing and the pace is slow at times. But, I do enjoy the character Newt Scamander.

This movie was darker than the first and didn't have as nearly as many scenes with the fantasy animals as the first move. It was also hard to follow.

Was hoping this would be an improvement over the first film, but is on the same level as the first. If you liked the first you’ll like this one.

This movie still has the same enjoyable characters from the first, but the addition of Johnny Depp is detrimental to the fill as a whole.

I know these movies aren't as well received as the Harry Potter movies, but I really enjoy them. I have the first movie in 3D. I was debating on purchasing this on 3D or 4K. After watching it, I can say that I would have probably liked it better in 4K. If you have the same options, I would go with the latter. If you liked the first movie or the related series, I think you will enjoy it.

Movie was pretty good. Overall, I liked the first Fantastic Beasts better, but it will be interesting to see where the story goes from here.

The first one was solid, this sequel was boring an didn't have enough beasts. Definitely feels like a placeholder for a third film.

Purchased this as a last mi it’s decision from reading the Harry Potter franchise and going to universal studios and I couldn’t have been more pleased. I was able to get what I wanted and birw the movie at my leisure. Everything ran smoothly so I could continue with my Harry Potter fascination!

It was a really good movie, i would highly recommend for friends and family, if you enjoyed the 1st one you'll enjoy this one as well

not a harry potter fan like my gf is, but i liked the fantastic beasts first film, i found this one a little harder to follow though

I loved the first movie but this one was not as good. They needed more love scenes and more of the animals like in the first one.
