I was excited to see this next chapter in the saga of Grindelwald and the earlier days of Dumbledore. I love the HP series (books and films) and am enjoying this new story line for its own merits. My favorite parts were the inclusion of several magical creatures and the back story for the Lastrange family.

As a Harry Potter fan, I was skeptical about this new series even though I was excited for more of this amazing mythology. These films deliver! This continuation of the Newt Scamander saga is full of action and magic, and lays so many paths to follow in the story of this world that bazillions of people of all ages are still madly in love with. I'm one of them.

This is likely the best of the two but to get the full measure and all the little links you have to watch the first...as well as the Harry Potter series as there are also links in those stories as well. This movie itself is wonderful. The characters are great. The video and audio are also very good.

This is an amazing movie that looks even more amazing in 4k. The visuals and sound are stunning. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I was only disappointed in some of the story elements involving Dumbledore that I felt were not necessary for the character nor the story. But overall an excellent movie.

I didn’t know much about this franchise but I did watch the first Fantastic Beast film with great admiration. I really liked the second film because it went back before Harry Potter and explained how Dumbledore and earlier Hogwarts evolved. If you are a Harry Potter fan, I would think you might add this series to your existing movie repertoire.

Despite what you may think of the film (which I happen to really enjoy) the quality of the picture and sound on this 4K disc is phenomenal. I must admit, I haven't used the blu-ray disc yet. If you have a decent 4K TV, 4K bluray player and sound system, you'll get the most out of this product.

I did see the movie in the theater, but missed some of the key dialog - those darn British accents! Wish there was more about the Fantastic Beasts, like the first movie, but this will eventually tie events into the H. Potter movies. Loved a deleted Niffler scene - they should have left it in!

The Crimes of Grindelwald, the 2nd movie in the Fantastic Beasts series attempts to set up a continuing franchise where the first movie just told a story. At times, it is confusing as to what is happening, but the special effects and 3D are top notch. Though disappointed in the movie as a whole, I am curious as to where the next installment will go.

Another story by J.K. Rowling hits home video with more Pre-Harry Potter adventures of good versus evil. I think the first Fantastic Beast set up a great world, and Fantastic Beast, Crimes of Grindelwald continues that story. A little darker than the first film, the story is interesting.

I don't understand all of the negative press surrounding this movie. Sure it's darker than the first movie, but there won't be 7 movies to gradually get real dark. There are some unexpected plot twists, and Johnny Depp's performance was actually very good. I can't wait for the next one.

The CGI is excellent in this movie but it moved too slowly for our family to really enjoy. Regardless, both my daughters loved it anyway. I think it's typical for sequels to not live up to the original (doing some of the first film's gags over again). However, there's explanation enough to keep you interested and anticipating the third film!

The Fantastic Beasts the crimes of Grindelwald Blue-ray was better then the first one the movie has a lot magic special effects and it has a little of Harry Potter in it I do not want to be a spoiler so buy the movie I also got the movie a great price a sale best buy had.

This movie got some bad review, but I really enjoyed it. I liked how it extended the Harry Potter mythos in different ways. If you're a Harry Potter fan, then you've already seen it. If you aren't a fan, then maybe go watch the old movies first. High recommendation.

I'm a sucker for a steel case edition, so this did not disappoint. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, although some Potterheads had their doubts. As a stand-alone movie, it leaves something to be desired, but as part of the Fantastic Beasts series, I think it was a fun ride.

This was a great movie. I know a lot of people were not sold on it but I thought it was awesome it had way more action then the 1st fantastic Beasts & Johnny depp did an amazing job at playing grindewald. If your a Harry Potter fan then this is a must see it will NOT disappoint.

This movie continues where the first Fantastic Beasts movie ends. I like the 3D special effects as they enhance the movie watching experience. Although I liked the first movie better since it explored the characters in more depth, you will not be disappointed with this latest one since it goes into more depth of Johnny Depp"s character.

Movie is actually good as the firs one, very enjoyable. The one thing I really love about this movie just as the first are the 3D effects, they are amazingly good. I definitely recommend to pick this up if you have a 3D TV, and if you have an OLED 3D TV you will love this.

The second chapter of the Fantastic Beasts saga looks as good as the first, includes the characters and creatures we watched for, and introduces a whole lot more connections between the worlds of Newt and Harry Potter. What it doesn't do is provide a clear story line. But the setup makes it clear: Fantastic Beasts 3 is going for broke.

Very good sequel to Fanatstic Beast to continue with the story and setting up for future movies, has a darker tone than the first movie, but also pay attention as many of the Harry Potter Characters are brought in at much younger ages and you get a brief history of the character, have to watch a few times or you might miss some points

I’m an avid JK Rowling & Harry Potter fan. I,still,watch HP movies whenever,often. I’m so grateful that Fantastic Beasts series is continuing. And,Crimes Of Grindelwald is primo. Another,I will watch many,many times. Over and over. And,I’m 64 yrs old. Imagination is priceless.
