From the movie side, this is kind of an overindulgent mess. She should have worked with a screen writer that understands the difference between books and movies. Having said that, it is still a good entry if you are into this world. The disk itself looks and sounds great. And the art on the steel book is great.

A very good film. I bought it in 3d. (Which is becoming more difficult as many studios are not releasing 3d blurays.) This is an outstanding example of good 3d, right up there with Hugo. The plot does get a little confusing and at times it seems as the purpose of this film is to set up the upcoming third film.

The Fantastic Beasts films are good, but they don't seem to contain the magic that the original Harry Potter films did. These films definitely seem to be darker and aimed to the older Harry Potter fans. Regardless, there are some interesting storylines building and they do look and sound amazing on 4K UHD.

This is a sequel to the first movie but has a different divergent story line. You don't have to see the first movie but would be helpful with understanding the characters. The movie does not provide a conclusion but instead sets up a third movie.

If you liked the movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", then this is a solid sequel. Grindelwald makes for a worthy adversary / villain. The Blu-ray copy was excellent in both video and audio quality and playback was flawless.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is a 2018 fantasy film directed by David Yates and written by J. K. Rowling. A British and American production, it is the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). A great storyline of how evil among the wizards leads to racism and separatist.

This Fantastic Beasts film, like the first one, is solid but not a home run. Maybe it's just more entertaining to watch kids be witches and wizards and do magic than adults. That said, the movie looks and sounds great on the 4K disc, and the amount and length of bonus features makes it worth the purchase

I just got done binge watching Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald and I was amazed yet again with this movie. If you want incredible picture quality and a phenomenal movie experience, then this movie is just what you're looking for!!!!

This continues the story of the first film with a good plot and acting. The major disappointment is that the author bowed down to the current trend of making Dumbledore gay (at least in this pre-Harry Potter timeline). This adds NOTHING to the story at all, and for me, taints the HP series.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) is one of my favorite films. The filmakers (for FBWFT) were able to capture the same Harry Potter magic we know and love and incorporate it into a whole new story full of sinster plots, new settings, wonderful creatures, and an extremely amazing cast. Sadly, the Crimes of Grindlewald did not meet my expectations of a sequel. Creating a setting one year apart from the first film, the filmakers struggled to rekindle the same flame that once fueled the bond between the main characters, as well as strained to piece together all the events that conspired in a fashion that flows and keeps the moviegoer intrigued with the plot. As for the next line of movies to come from this saga, I hope the time is taken to consider what can be done better. I recommend to watch this to build your own opinion.

This movie was not as great (in my opinion) as the Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. It spends a lot of time setting up future events but still connects a lot of the plot to the Harry Potter series which is definitely a plus for fans. Overall I enjoyed the movie just can’t give it a full 5 stars.

This movie is a follow on to Fantistic Beasst and were to find them. If you did not see the first one it will take some time to see what's going on in this one. In other words not a stand alone video like the first. It also leaves you hanging at the end for the next one. Good special effects though

Overall I liked the movie and the Blu-Ray provides great quality. This movie was good and had lots of twists and turns in it. I feel, however, that Fantastic Beasts was better. I ordered on line and the movie was ready in less than an hour. The person that helped me at pick-up was very personable..

I rated the first movie a 3. Mainly my fault for certain expectations. This one was way better and had the relatable characters from the Harry Potter movies. I enjoyed Johnny Depp's character. I found myself ready for the next movie after the ending. Guess I'll have to wait, not much of a reader!

Wonderful movie with excellent clear native 4K imagery (most movies are upscaled from 2K DI's) coupled with beautiful HDR color! As always HP movies have a reference level soundtrack that's sure to p*ss off your neighbors! Highly recommend!

My household is all HP and FB. This one was a little slower than the first one but that is what I expected as it needed to set up the next three. If you love the HP universe I am sure you will enjoy this, I loved it and loved Grindlewald. The steel book looks great and the digital is a must for me.

If you liked the Harry Potter movies & especially the first Fantastic Beasts Movie, then you should like this one. What happens when Grendelwald escapes prison and puts his plans into motion. It’s up to Newt, Tina & Kowalski to put a stop to it.

I enjoy revisiting the Potter world so I'm good with anything they do here. It might not be as great as the potter movies but at least you get a little nostalgia for them. Now the steelbook looks great and is a great addition to any collection.

This movie takes place before the Harry Potter series. It provides additional background and character info on Hogwarts’ Slytherin house. While the movie does continue from the end of the first Magical Beasts movie, focus is more on the characters and pure blood movement than on the magic beasts.

Not for kids! But a good movie and it's nice to see either younger versions of characters than in the Harry Potter books, or characters which were mentioned but we never met in the books. As always, the multiple-format edition is key for me to give me the flexibility to watch how/when I want.
