This seems to be what happens when the first movie does well and they're in a hurry to crank out a sequel to make a buck. The story is disjointed, the pacing is clunky, and the CGI is pretty laughable, almost cartoonish. I can watch science fiction films from the seventies and eighties and their special effects look less ridiculous than the ones in this movie. It felt like the cast had a good time with the first movie but had none of that chemistry on this film. And, like many others, placing those horrid blue contacts in Jessica Alba's eyes...why? Yeah, Sue had blue eyes but we were fine with the change in the first film so why change it now? It's not like Marvel hasn't made minor tweaks before (Kingpin in Daredevil and Agent Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes to mind). I'd only recommend this if you can find it for $5. Otherwise, save yourself the eye sore and wasted two hours you'll never get back.

They should have killed off the FF4 at the very beginning of the movie and left only Silver Surfer vs. Dr. Doom. Then it would have been 5 out of 5 stars. The characters are just so lame. I just hope they don’t make another one.
